    #文末有昨晚歌單

    今天收到國外友人寄來這張限量單曲黑膠，才讓我想起來昨晚 #居家BTS派對房 暫別最終回應該要放一下這首的！

    金屬天團 Metallica 的90年代經典同名專輯《Metallica (The Black Album)》發行屆滿30週年不但推出重發版本，還企劃了一張邀集50組音樂人參與的大陣仗合集《The Metallica Blacklist》。當中由法國指標electro音樂人 SebastiAn 把《Metallica (The Black Album)》專輯中兩首〈Don’t Tread On Me〉、〈Nothing Else Matters〉進行mashup合而為一的這首〈Don’t Tread on Else Matters〉，便會限量發行了這張單面12吋單曲黑膠！

    所以今天也把當年兩大日牌Devilock跟Neighborhood翻完Metallica經典logo的單品、還有英國品牌KTZ翻玩不少經典金屬團logo的長褲找出來，做個全套的穿搭。

    DJ JASE VÀ THE BEATS SAIGON

    Là một trong những người đầu tiên chơi dòng nhạc bass ở Việt Nam, DJ JASE aka Jase Nguyễn, tên thật là Nguyễn Thành Trung. Anh bắt đầu tự học làm DJ vào năm 2001, dòng nhạc house là dòng nhạc anh chơi từ khi bắt đầu, sau đó anh tiếp tục phát triển mình ở thể loại tiếp theo là Nu Skool Breaks, sau đó Jase từ từ chuyển hướng sang Drum n Bass, Hip-Hop và Reggae. Anh còn sáng lập ra nhóm Foreigndub nổi tiếng của tập đoàn DNB Sydney, tạo nên nhiều tên tuổi DJ quốc tế như DJ Marky và Stamina MC, Big Bud, DJ Patife & MC Cleveland Watkiss, Kenny Ken.

    Jase đã từng biểu diễn trước đám đông 15.000 người tại Pháp (nhân dịp kỉ niệm 40 năm ngoại giao giữa Việt Nam và Pháp. Anh cũng đã từng biểu diễn trên cùng một sân khấu với các ban nhạc như Daedalus, Major Lazer, DJ Premier, DJ Shortkut, DJ Patife & Cleveland Watkiss, tarRo, D-Styles, DJ Woody...v.v… Jase chơi rất nhiều tại các buổi tiệc trong và ngoài nước. Anh là gương mặt đại diện của Việt Nam đi Canada tham gia chương trình Life Exchange, anh cũng từng biểu diễn trước đám đông 15.000 người tại Pháp. Nhưng anh giản dị nói: "Thành tựu lớn nhất đối với mình là khiến nhiều fan Việt yêu thích dòng nhạc bass".

    Sau khi trở về Việt Nam, Jase sáng lập ra nhóm The Beats Saigon vào cuối năm 2006, đầu năm 2007, chuyên về thể loại nhạc Bass. Thành viên chính hiện nay của The Beats Saigon là có anh, DJ 2Stone (Kim - vợ anh), DJ JIN (một DJ resident ở Bass Republic từ S.D Records). The Beats Saigon được thành lập với mục đích mang artist nước ngoài diễn giao lưu tại Việt Nam. Đến nay, The Beats Saigon đã mời được hơn 40 nghệ sĩ quốc tế nổi tiếng tới diễn diễn tại Sài Gòn. Đồng thời The Beats Saigon cũng sinh ra chuỗi sự kiện BASS REPUBLIC hằng tháng từ khi thành lập đến giờ.

    Do tình hình dịch nên BASS REPUBLIC phải chuyển sang hình thức sang livestream. Sau selection gần đây nhất là 'Medium Rare Funk' thì vào 9 giờ tối thứ 7 tuần này 07.08, BASS REPUBLIC sẽ tiếp tục chuỗi sự kiện livestream của mình với setlist ‘Curfew’.

    Now that we can't go overseas, that does not mean we stop exploring. To us, one of the best ways to learn and see more of the world is through reading. I had the chance to visit Tokyo on my company incentive trip (that was more than 13 years ago before I switched to being a stay-home mum) before the kids came along and up till now, it is still one of my favourite cities and I earnestly hope to bring the family there someday.

    Written by our well-loved local author Emily Lim, Marky Polo in Tokyo tells the tale of a pangolin who is travelling overseas for the first time. At the airport, his luggage was taken up by another traveller and in order to retrieve it, he and his cousin had to pass through many famous places in Tokyo.

    They include the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Skytree, streets of Harajuku, Shibuya crossing and the Samurai Museum. It is a colourful and interesting way to let the kids learn more about these famous attractions and there are even fun facts about animals native to Japan, for instance the amami rabbit, red-crowned crane and Akita-inu.

    The book also lets readers have an Augmented Reality experience simply by downloading an app and scanning the pangolin icon when it appears on the page. We can't wait to see where Marky will go next on his exciting travels!
