Attended a very intimate lunch discussion with five other environmental NGO representatives in Malaysia, on the occasion of the visit to Malaysia of French Ambassador for Environment. We discussed on palm oil in terms of Malaysia-EU relationship, public perception, and NGO initiatives. . . Multisectoral engagements are important to make informed decisions and collect perspectives from different stakeholders. It was an insightful session and hopefully the inputs provided will be an influencing factor for policies moving forward.
