「台灣是我的家鄉 ; 巴黎是我的後院」-塗至道 Garytu

策展理念之段落：

媒體理論家安妮·弗里德伯格 (Anne Friedberg) 認為「漫遊者」(flâneur) 是現代主義的範例，而流動式凝視也源自於現代主義。更確切地來說，「漫遊者」就是19世紀時，夏爾·波特萊爾 (Charles Baudelaire) 所提出的「散步者」概念，意指對都市生活充滿熱情的觀看者。波特萊爾 (Baudelaire) 寫道：「對稱職的閒晃者與熱情洋溢的觀察家而言，生活在城市，帶給他們無盡的喜悅。

他們享受於生活在人來人往之中、經歷潮起潮落、感受熙來攘往、體會稍縱即逝與無限的感受。他們遠離家鄉，卻又能在任何地方感受到如在家一般的恬適；去看這個世界，去成為世界中心的同時，世界卻也看不見他們，對這些獨立、強烈、不偏不倚的靈魂而言，是微小卻極為快活之事，因為他們不讓自己輕易地被侷限、被定義。」集藝術家詩人與現代主義於一身的「漫遊者」，觀察、分析與紀錄了城市生活的景觀，成了現代主義的重要精髓。
