中秋連假我們除了回阿公阿媽家烤肉，幾乎全宅在家。想起臉書上常看到 Outschool 的廣告，就來搜尋看看有什麼林寶會有興趣的。

找到這位 Ms. Katie 那天有開 Paw Patrol 主題課，林寶當然說好！一開始擔心林寶是外語孩子，如果有其他美國孩子來上課，怕他跟不上，還好老師自介影片裡提到她有教中國孩子美語的經驗，我又寫訊息問老師，她馬上就回覆了，說她會讓孩子用手勢投票（是非題），應該對林寶不會太困難。

那天只有林寶一個學生，老師從頭到尾都很投入，拿著布偶演出劇情，跟林寶互動，”Good job!”, “You’re doing great!” 鼓勵聲不絕於耳～

林寶上完課還是興致高昂，說 “So fun!”，以後還要再上課，而且還說自己怎麼那麼厲害，哈哈，老師的稱讚往心裡去了。

Outschool 網站平台有適合各年齡孩子（3+）、各種科目的課程，是由老師自己設計教案、自己開課表、自己訂價。通常同一位老師會有單堂課、帶狀課，有的還會有錄播課。如果看到有興趣的課，但時間配合不上，也可以直接傳訊息給老師約時間，比較有彈性。

在上面開課的老師有一些是有教師證的，也有專門開給外語孩子的ESL課程。最近中國禁止“境外外教線上課”，應該有滿多老師的時間空出來了。

最大的缺點是老師幾乎都在美國，有時差問題，線上課可選的時段較少。錄播課老師也會設計互動方式，但沒辦法練習口語對話。大孩子如果想上寫作課倒是可以找找有沒有錄播課可上，這其實是一開始吸引我上 Outschool 的地方，台灣好的英文寫作老師難找。

線上課一律在 Zoom 平台，會錄影，但老師不一定會分享給家長。平台要求只能孩子入鏡，家長即使要旁聽協助也盡可能不要出現在畫面上。如果兩個孩子要一起上課，每個人都需要報名繳費。其他如準時出席、在安靜可專心的地方上課、不要一邊吃東西，這些保障課堂品質的規矩都需要遵守。

網站上可按條件搜尋課程，我把截圖放在底下，還是有滿多有趣的課可以選的。註冊後登入網站會顯示台灣時間，不用擔心搞錯時區。最後一張圖我標註了不同課程類型，可以按需求篩選。

可惜我們剛上完的這堂 Paw Patrol 課程老師沒有再開適合台灣的時間了，有興趣的話可以發訊息跟老師約課，如果你的時區可以配合，小孩又喜歡這幾隻狗狗，推薦可以上看看哦！

雖然跑名人對Eugene來說是像了解一個真人真事的故事來學習，
像是讀『馬拉拉』時而了解當地女孩受教育的困難，
並且得知塔利班是真實存在在世界上...等之類的學習。
但考量Eugene的心智年齡還是比較適合趣味故事的好，
所以六月份就沒再特別安排名人主題的學習了...

📖【Katie Woo book set】聽讀測16本(myON電子書)，這套書內容很生活化，從3月份就開始讀一些，說來這套書的本數很多呢！(之後再成套發文紀錄)
和📖【Missy's Super Duper Royal Deluxe Collection】很類似，字數很少(不用10分鐘就一本)，卻非常接近Eugene的心智年齡並有趣呢!
