無聊少年偽造鬧鬼效果《The Waiting》惡作劇反被惡鄰誤

百無聊賴的兩個青少年，決定發揮手中的器材和無聊的野心，在獨居男子的家中製造「鬧鬼」體驗。他們一心想錄下鄰居的誇張反應，而自作聰明地操作燈光、空調、門扉並加重效果，卻發現他們試圖嚇唬的對象，其實是最惹不起的人物。

導演Kasra Farahani曾任《闇黑無界：星際爭霸戰》、《雷神索爾》藝術指導，首部短片《Noon》據傳已被福斯影業買下、準備發展成長片，第二部短片《Concerning the Bodyguard》更入選多倫多影展、紐約林肯中心年度重點新銳企劃「New Directors/New Films」。

導演稍早帶著首部執導長片《The Waiting》參加SXSW電影節，向《後窗》、《靈異第六感》等經典驚悚取經，再加上貌似《大快人心》的逆向操作，結合偽紀錄片的手法，將現代人過度追求名氣、不以為意造就的真實殘忍搬上檯面。

由《教父》長子James Caan、《殭屍教戰守則》Logan Miller、《靈病》Keir Gilchrist主演。
