I’m not much of a cafe gurl because I don’t drink coffee and I get bored of standard cafe food, but ever since @kreamkensho opened their doors a month ago, I’ve been back more than I have been for any other cafe and I keep struggling between ordering my favourites and trying something new 🥵 They are THAT good!! @shermainexk (who started K&K) is my dear friend but I’m not sponsored ok I’m happy to be a paying customer! So here is my review (and my favs), in no particular order: ✨Kombu Truffle Fries ($15) - great for sharing, always a fun staple side to get with your mains, stays crispy even after a while ✨Sakura Ebi Capellini ($18) - omfg the flavour profile on this is just so satisfying, it’s an umami bomb with that shio kombu and hot chilli oil so it’s kinda spicy too!! ✨Truffle Gyudon ($17) - honestly I was meh about ordering this initially but I wanted to try it and I was so surprised with how perfectly the skirt steak was cooked, and how refreshing their homemade pickled ginger was! I’d love a bit more sauce in the rice but wow it was so hearty and shiok esp with the perfect onsen egg ✨Roasted Chicken Leg ($17) - also a lunch special! so understated but the flavours are great for someone who likes it subtle. The chicken has been brined and cooked sous vide over 2 days and it sits atop a plate of mash and chutney ✨Ricotta & Lavender Matcha Toast ($12) - omg... ok it looks amazing but you really can’t appreciate it until you try it. A bed of juicy grapes on whipped ricotta (super light), with lavender and crushed pistachios on top of buttered brioche. They swapped out their brioche recently and it’s much more light and chewy, and the lavender is just... it’s so fragrant, so refreshing, so so yummy. I love love love this and I order it every time with another main LMAO For drinks, ✨Iced Yuzu Matcha ($7) - this is gonna be MY drink every time I go in wow so refreshing and interesting ✨Hot Cheng Tng ($6) - very soothing and fragrant ✨Junebug ($18 - cocktail) - with kaffir lime, juniper, thyme and gin if you wanna 🍹🤙🏻 like we did for lunch HAHA. Please do yourself a favour and go try em out!! Lovely space and good vibes, and even better food ❤️😛👍🏻

Late to post cuz I’ve been so tired and sick - sorry!😷, as I sat and had the best lobster bisque (fancy cuz it was my first meal of 2019 and cuz I was just too sick to eat anything else 😅😵) I thought of the goals I set in 2018, looking back, I can’t believe I got it done: ✔️ - Bought my first apartment 😭❤️🙏✔️ - became the spokesmodel for Aboli雅勃力 😭🤩 (facemasks for life whoooop 😜) 當了雅勃力代言人✔️ - won “Next Rising Star” award at this years 音乐先锋榜颁奖典礼 Pioneer Music Charts award ceremony. 今年音樂先鋒榜盛典得了「樂壇飛躍藝人」獎✔️ - Directed my first MV, and in total 3 MVs this year 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 初次當導演而今年導了三隻MV✔️ - Ran my first half marathon and made my goal to finish in less than 2.5 hrs, at 2hrs and 24 mins 🤪 第一次跑半馬拉松✔️ - Started a non profit organization in China and so far planted over 1000 trees and counting in Northwest China. 🌹🌹🌹🌳🌳🌳 ✔️ - Released an Unplugged Originals EP, a Christmas EP and 1 single where two pieces got picked to be the theme song to two different dramas. 🎶🎵🎶發行兩張EP，一個單曲，兩首 「謝謝收看」當了《實習醫師格鬥》的主題曲，另一首「沒遺憾，只有愛」當了 《雙城故事》片尾曲✔️ - Witnessed some of my closest gfs get married in SF, Thailand, BJ, Taiwan ... and was honored to be the bridesmaid to @stirandstyle! 👰🏻👰🏼👰🏽 (the pink makeup bag in the pic was one of the many bridesmaids gifts from junebug! custom made with our initials!- best gift!) ✔️ - Flew to Finland for the first time for a Sony ATV and Elements music exclusive collab writing camp where we sold over half the songs! 第一次飛芬蘭參加創作營✔️ - and the last thing I can remember, took our first family trip of 4 generations to Bali! 4 days just wasn’t enough... 🦋🐛🌸 . . . . Got sick more times this year than my past, probably lost a couple years off my life- wish that translated to pounds 😂 - it scares me bc I already see how busy 2019 is gonna be. 2018 was just preparing me for an even greater, more challenging, more purposeful year. But hey, you gotta be a little scared to be brave and courageous right? So, my 2019 keyword is FOCUS. Rebooting this hard drive, clearing out what I don’t need anymore, reorganizing, reprioritizing.
