幾週前 Levi's 跟 Google 合作開發的智慧夾克才剛剛開賣，在今天華爾街日報的 D. Live 大會上又傳來了 Project Jacquard 的 2.0 版本已在籌劃中的消息。按照 Levi's CEO Chip Bergh 的說法，下一代的產品將會有更多的功能。只要是不需要螢幕就可實現的特性，他們跟 Google 就都願意嘗試。
在 Bergh 看來，Project Jacquard 只是智慧型衣物的開端，未來導電線、導電纖維會被廣泛運用到衣服之上（比如說以後可能會出現能靠嵌入纖維和相關組件來實現圈數、心率記錄的泳衣）。而在被問到下一代的夾克是否會具備語音交互功能時，Bergh 則表示目前的材料還無法「聽」到指令。
「我們會銘記過去。」在談到 Levi's 的傳統時 Berge 這麼說道，「但也必須堅持創新，自信地邁向未來。」
