本周三，三位AIT外交官 Kyle Morgan, Brian Chen 與 Lynn Ruggles 特別到位於 #松山文創園區 的 #美國創新中心 協助指導九位來自臺北市信義區 #光復國民小學 的小朋友們。在這個「無圍牆博物館-松菸小小導覽員培訓計畫」中，這群小導覽員們使用英語介紹園區的歷史與古蹟建築, 並接受外交官們指導英語發音與練習導覽和說故事的技巧。小朋友的英語能力令人驚豔, 除了背誦導覽內容外, 還能唸出很多困難的發音! 我們鼓勵這群小導覽員們繼續學習，外語能力在地球村世代很重要! 而英語是最棒的世界工具! 美國創新中心內有許語言學習的相關館藏，歡迎你前來發掘體驗! #EnglishLearning

On September 15, AIT Officers Kyle Morgan, Brian Chen, and Lynn Ruggles coached nine Gongfu Elementary School students at a workshop titled “Borderless Museum: Little Tour Guide” at the American Innovation Center (AIC). The sixth-grade students practiced being a tour guide at the historical Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, where the AIC is located. The workshop is a part of the Taipei City Government’s efforts to introduce the park’s history and its buildings, while raising the English proficiency of students. Students were divided into three groups, and each group was paired with an AIT officer as their English coach for a specific tour route within the park. Congratulations to the little tour guides for doing a fantastic job memorizing the script and pronouncing difficult words!

一個專案我選擇了介紹如何在澳洲買房⁣
因為覺得很實用⁣

老師提供很多主題讓我們選擇⁣
像是老師的薪水該跟醫生一樣嗎？⁣
孩子課後需要去打工嗎？⁣
而我選擇的是我們該成為素食者嗎？⁣
看到這個主題的時候
我就馬上就想選擇這個題目⁣
報告的過程中需要使用說服語句、加強語氣、一些特定用法⋯（老師依此來評分）⁣
當然是講英文報告啦！⁣
報告完成後真的覺得學到很多東西也更進步了⁣
語言這個東西
真的就是要使用在生活中才會變成你的⁣

星期一就要開學了！⁣

And what I choose is should we become vegetarians?⁣
When I saw this theme, I immediately wanted to choose this one.⁣
In the process of reporting, you need to use persuasive sentences, strengthen the tone, and some specific ways like linking words ... (the teacher will score according to this)⁣
Of course the report is in English!⁣
After the report, I really feel that I have learned a lot and improved.⁣
Language really needs to be used in daily life.⁣

School will start this coming Monday.

#澳洲生活

“Te Quiero Mucho”是 “I love you so much”的西班牙文～發音聽起來也挺浪漫的。

位於上環的Te Quiero Mucho是一家墨西哥酒吧餐廳，食物之前也在Be介紹過了，他們的Nachos真的蠻好吃的！尤其是配上牛油果醬和辣番茄莎莎，真的可以一塊接一塊的吃個不停。🥑🥓🌮

可是對於正在減肥的我，最想念的卻是他們的特色cocktail！他們的調酒味道很棒，味道大多香濃但又不會嗆喉，而且很多都是我在外面從未喝過的。

最有特色的一定要數到將酒精、燕麥等混在一起的「Adult Breakfast」，還有像是做實驗似的test tube形調酒「No Name」，味道有點像Whiskey，還帶點煙燻，屬於濃香的帥氣味道。🥃🍸🥂🍻

所以啊…我已經約了同事們11月再去吃喝了！！！好期待呀～😆

我是Gina，我來自台灣，我是一位英文老師，我喜歡學習英文和教英文。我的職業生涯大部分都在教授文法，但是當我真正想要說英文時，問題來了，我不太能自然表達自己。我開始改變自己的教學和學習目標，我想說英文，這時我才知道文法閱讀與聽說可是很大的不同。我發現口說卡住的是自然造句的能力以及口語發音。我慢慢研究口說語音的變化，透過外師的幫助，我的口說和聽力都變好了！：)

我的影片課程，是我對於英文教學的熱情與成果，我的目標並不是幫助你發音跟美國人一樣，我自己也做不到，因為區域性的口音就不同，每個人都帶著自己母語的影響在說英文，這很棒，這是我們的identity(身分認同)，不要不敢開口。我的課程目標是幫助我自己以及大家，可以輕鬆的發音。了解口語的語音變化，學習時會踏實有力量，開口說英文就會有信心！
