有抽煙的朋友們，戒菸吧！

研究證實，香煙煙霧會在囓齒動物和人的肺中引起新冠病毒受體ACE2水平增加，病毒進入人體受體增加三成以上，進而加重吸煙者患新冠肺炎重症的風險？

相反，戒菸會減少這些分泌細胞並降低ACE2水平。

這篇研究成果5月16日發表在（Developmental cell）上，題目為“Cigarette smoke exposure and inflammatory signaling increase the expression of the SARS-CoV-2 receptor ACE2 in the respiratory tract”。

在這項研究之前，貝勒醫學院的團隊發表的研究報告也發現，在有吸煙史的人群中，附著在呼吸道外表面的ACE2水平增加了25 %。

小鼠的實驗......

研究人員首先評估了小鼠肺中的基因表達。研究團隊分析了一組持續5個月、每天暴露在稀釋香煙煙霧中2、3或4小時的小鼠，令人驚訝的是，他們發現根據煙霧暴露時間的不同，小鼠肺部的ACE2表達呈劑量依賴性增加（即煙霧暴露時間越長，ACE2表達水平越高）。
