朋友們！之前跟大家聊過不少關於法語區各種千奇百怪的迷信，你還記得嗎？比如：「綠色，是會帶衰演員的顏色」，「不要將長棍麵包倒過來放」等。但是，這次要聊一個生活中常見，但是很少提到的迷信：你知道「踩到屎」也是迷信之一嗎？！​

不過要注意的是，可不是隨便一隻腳就算，我們討論的對象僅次於「左腳」！這雖然不是法國僅有的，不過在法國卻常常被提起。人們相信：左腳踩到屎，能夠帶來好運。不過其實這並不完全正確，正確來講應該不是帶來好運，而是「袪除厄運」！​

你可能會問，那為什麼只有左腳呢？那是因為，左腳就代表著厄運！例如，在最後的晚餐中，猶大就是坐在耶穌的左邊。於是「左邊」就此被與「惡魔」、「厄運」劃上了等號。所以，如果用象徵厄運的左腳去採屎，就象徵遠離厄運。不過，因為如果是故意用左腳踩，會激怒惡魔，反而會帶來更多的厄運呢！​

除此之外，如果大家還記得的話， « La merde »「屎」其實是 « La Chance »「好運」的同義詞，用來祝福別人好運！因為早期大家都靠馬通勤，所以如果戲院前有很多馬屎的話，就代表，「人很多，生意興隆」！​

根據“Lastminute”網站報導，在2017年的統計中，有55%的歐洲人在光譜上，被認為是相對迷信的！更細劃分，60%的西班牙人，58%義大利人以及56%的德國人，都傾向相信比較迷信，容易跟著迷信去影響自己的行為，這個數字，你感到意外嗎？​

Nous avons plusieurs fois parlé de superstitions diverses que les Français ont, comme le vert étant une couleur porte-malheur pour les acteurs ou encore la baguette qu'il ne faut surtout pas mettre à l'envers sur une table ! Aujourd'hui on regarde quelque chose qui ne va pas vous paraître très romantique : marcher dans une crotte de chien ! ​

Attention, pas de n'importe quel pied ! Le pied gauche. Cela n'est pas spécifique de l'Hexagone mais il est vrai que les Français sont ceux qui en font beaucoup référence. Marcher dans une crotte de chien du pied gauche porterait chance. En fait, pas vraiment. Marcher du pied gauche sur une crotte de chien ne porte pas chance mais elle éloigne le Mal. Un peu d'explications est nécessaire. ​

Le côté gauche représente le Mal. Par exemple, dans la Cène, Judas est assis à gauche de Jésus ! Ce côté est donc devenu le côté relié au Mal et à la malchance. Marcher dans une crotte de chien avec le pied gauche éloignerait donc celui-ci ! Mais attention ! Il ne faut pas le faire exprès. C'est très important car si vous le faites exprès, le Mal sera donc furieux et vous aurez encore plus de malheurs !​

En plus de cela, rappelez vous que, la « merde » est synonyme de chance ! On dit souvent « merde » à la place de « bonne chance » car, avant, s'il y avait beaucoup de crottes de chevaux devant les théâtres, cela voulait dire qu'il y avait beaucoup de monde puisque les gens se déplacaient à l'aide de chevaux !​

Si on prend les chiffres, 55% des Européens sont superstitieux ! Selon une enquête menée par le site internet Lastminute, en 2017, 60% des Espagnols, 58% des Italiens et 56% des Allemands croyaient à des superstitions diverses. ​

📰 Mexico Reports Slight Decline in 2019 Homicides
Nation’s murder rate remained at highest level in decades despite fall in number of killings

MEXICO CITY—Mexico registered 209 fewer homicides in 2019 than a year earlier, the first decline in five years, though the murder rate remained at its highest level in decades, the National Statistics Institute said Wednesday.

The country registered 36,476 homicides last year, down from 36,685 in 2018, according to preliminary data based on death certificates. The homicide rate was unchanged from 2018 at 29 per 100,000 inhabitants, the highest level on records stretching back 30 years.

“The important thing is that the government doesn’t rest on its laurels by saying we’ve slowed the rise in homicides,” said Cassius Wilkinson, a security analyst at political-risk consultancy Empra. “A plateau at historic highs still isn’t good for Mexico’s public security.”

Monthly police reports for 2020 show that homicides were up 1.5% in the first eight months of this year from a year earlier, although the numbers have been overshadowed by more than 74,000 deaths of people infected with the coronavirus.

The drop in the preliminary number of homicides for 2019 will likely become a small increase when final data are released at the end of October, said security analyst Alejandro Hope. “The good news is that it’s not growing, the bad news is that it’s not falling,” he added.

Lowering the level of violence, much of it by organized-crime groups, is among the main concerns of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador whose strategy has been to reduce direct confrontation between security forces and heavily armed criminal gangs.

Since taking office at the end of 2018, Mr. López Obrador has disbanded the Federal Police and replaced it with a National Guard drawn mostly from the ranks of army and naval police. The National Guard has close to 100,000 members, and is expected to increase to 140,000.

Among the most violent states was Guanajuato in central Mexico, which has been the site of fighting between the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and a gang of fuel thieves called the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel. Authorities arrested José Antonio Yépez, the alleged head of the fuel theft gang, in early August.

While violence increased in Guanajuato, the homicide rate fell last year in neighboring Jalisco state. The number of murders could be masked by an increase in forced disappearances in the state as the Jalisco cartel consolidates its control of the area, said Mr. Wilkinson.

“A lot of the states that lead the rankings are leading for different reasons,” he added, noting increased killings in northern states such as Sonora and Chihuahua. “I wouldn’t be surprised if the 2020 numbers are much higher.”

At least 50 people were killed and 2,750 wounded because of the explosion, Lebanon’s health minister said.

The explosion, which produced a giant orange mushroom cloud over the city, was yet another trauma for Beirut residents who have survived wars and numerous bombings in the past. They now face the challenge of rebuilding at a time of strained resources due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The blast is the latest blow for Lebanon, a country already reeling from multiple crises in recent months, ranging from large street protests over government corruption to an economy on the brink of collapse after years of mismanagement. Before the explosion, which shook the whole of Beirut, Lebanon’s economy was in free fall and ordinary Lebanese citizens were struggling with soaring prices of food and other goods, as well as long daily power cuts.

📌 這段說這次爆炸毀壞港口(port) 和破壞市中心 (city center)。corniche是個很少用的字，但是精準地描繪地中海的濱海道路。
