美國眾院民主黨提出彈劾川普案下週將表決，若通過川普將成美國有史以來第四位遭彈劾的總統(Trump is fourth U.S. president to face impeachment as Democrats unveil charges)。impeachment (n.彈劾)來自動詞impeach (v.彈劾)=字首im-(=in-表into)+拉丁文pedica(表fetter上腳鐐,內含字根-ped-表foot腳)，讓人上腳鐐就是要控告、舉發罪行，就是impeach，加名詞字尾-ment就是impeachment彈劾。(★impede妨礙、expedite加速執行，都有字根-ped-表foot)
