In President Tsai’s inauguration speech, it was mentioned that Taiwan will develop six core strategic industries to transform it into a critical force in the global economy. Below are the six industries and plans for developing them.

蔡總統於就職演說時提到，臺灣將利用當前六大戰略產業的機遇，使臺灣蛻變為全球經濟的關鍵力量。以下為六大戰略產業及其發展計劃。你準備好開發下一個世代的科技了嗎？

Six Core Strategic Industries

First, we will continue to develop our information and digital industries. We will take advantage of Taiwan's strengths in the semiconductor and ICT industries to secure a central role in global supply chains, and make Taiwan a major base for the development of next generation technologies, including IoT and AI.

Throughout this pandemic, Taiwanese teams have proven that they are capable of working with world-class technologies to produce reagents and develop new drugs and vaccines. We are going to give these industries our utmost support, and transform Taiwan into a key force in the global battle against infectious diseases.

In addition to domestically-produced naval vessel and aircraft programs that are currently underway, we will push harder to promote technological integration between the military and the private sector, to stimulate private sector production capabilities, and advance into the aviation and space industries.

Over the past four years, renewable energy has experienced explosive growth, and Taiwan has become a hotspot for international investment. Building on this foundation, I am confident that we will achieve our goal of deriving 20% of our overall energy from green sources by 2025. We are going to make Taiwan a center for green energy in Asia.

【新書進度】剛好寫到古巴🇨🇺 那時參加了兩團免費導覽，與導遊深度聊天，得到許多單純當觀光客不會知道/想到的資訊📄

畢竟現實沒有想像中的美好💔 觀光客們喜歡的古巴，也不是當地人希望的古巴👀 當年輕人被迫選擇理想的行業（例如醫生）或是觀光客收入，那是多麼殘酷，一個國家又如何進步☹️

一到古巴，York 整天哼的都是這首 "Havana, ohh na-na🎵" 哈瓦那其實以前是加勒比海上的度假首選，直到美國限制古巴禁運與旅行禁令，其他國家跟進😫 直到九零年代這共產國家來讓旅客重新來該國旅遊，而哈瓦那也被榮譽為「世界新七大奇觀城市」，這個城市最特殊的地方在於像是三個不同城市結合起來😍 舊城區更是在 1982年被譽為世界遺產 <3

由於古巴是個共產黨國家，人民其實蠻窮的。不過我們從來沒有來過一個窮國家這麼坑旅客錢 😱 古巴消費以西方旅遊景點來說雖然不多，但當本地人一個月只賺二十美金，他們要遊客付的不管是交通或是食物，至少都是當地人的二十倍😲 如果你不介意當個「觀光客」 的話，那麼哈瓦那確實很好玩。

"Havana, ohh na-na🎵" has been the song that York's hums everyday ever since we landed in Cuba😆 Havana used to be no.1 Caribbean vacation hotspot until US sanctioned Cuba😫 It only opened its doors to tourism in 1990s and is now known as one of the "New 7 Wonders Cities" of the world😍 Havana is often described as 3 cities combined into one with Old Havana being listed as UNESCO since 1982 <3

As it is a communist country, the people are quite poor. However I've never been to a country where they over-charged the tourists THIS MUCH😱 The prices in Havana is not expensive in Western standards, just on par... which is outrageous as locals earn about USD$20 per month😲 However it means we paying at least 20x more of what locals are paying on food, transports, etc 🚙 If you look past all this, then Havana is a fun place to be😆
