ポリタンクを持って、水を汲みにやってくる人がいっぱいです。
途切れることがありませんねぇ。
行列になるほどではありませんけど。

その神水庵の前で五平餅を売ってました。
おいしそう。

普通に美味しい。

それから気になったのが、さといも餅。
ナニかねぇ？
食べるわなぁ。

見た目は丸い五平餅。
丸い五平餅って、時々あるもんねぇ。
そういうもんかなぁってひと口かじってみました。
チガウねぇ。
まず食感。
五平餅のかたさじゃないもん。
ふわっと。
よく串に刺して落ちないもんだね。
里芋なんだねぇ。
味もびっくり。
甘い味噌ダレかと思うでしょ。
チガウねぇ。
しょうが醤油。
醤油だけでなく、しょうがの味が本体のさといもの味を引き立てます。
きぬかつぎにもしょうが醤油だもんねぇ。

橋杭岩観光


地質

橋杭岩は、泥岩層の間に火成活動により、石英斑岩が貫入したものである。貫入後に差別侵食により、柔らかい泥岩部が速く侵食され、硬い石英斑岩が杭状に残されたものである。

附近の施設

橋杭岩は国道42号沿いに位置する観光スポットで附近にはみやげ物やなども数軒見られる。干物などを売る店もある。その中でも儀平菓舗のうすかわ饅頭は土産として有名である。

橋杭岩から新宮方面へ歩くとすぐにJR紀勢本線の紀伊姫駅が、串本方面へ歩くと橋杭海水浴場がある。橋杭海水浴場の先をもっと進むとやがて串本の市街に入り串本駅にいたることもできる。なお橋杭岩の根元には大師温泉という温泉が湧出しており共同の浴場も整備されている。

橋杭岩（はしぐいいわ）は和歌山県東牟婁郡串本町の観光名所で吉野熊野国立公園に属している。同町の大字鬮野川（くじのかわ）の小字橋杭の、紀伊大島に対向する海岸から紀伊大島方面へ南西一列におよそ850メートルもの長きにわたって大小約40の岩が連続してそそり立っており
