    While luxurious skin treatments and fancy facials may seem enticing, you don’t always need to break the bank to get healthy, glowing skin. Sometimes, simple ingredients like plants are exactly what your skin’s been craving. One of my favorite skin-friendly plants? Cucumbers!

    Cucumbers are known for being crunchy and cool 😎 , but they’re also great for your complexion and are a well-known superfood for the skin. They’ve been used in skincare for decades to address common skin concerns like hydration, aging, and inflammation. (They are 96% water!)
    Cucumbers are loaded with antioxidants, which are molecules that help fight oxidative damage caused by free radicals. They contain vitamin C, caffeic acid, and folic acid 😚 don’t just we love cucumbers?

    -help to keep your skin at the right pH
    -freshen your skin during the day
    -help to prevent acne breakouts
    -they are good for burns 🥵
    -help to overcome sun damage, perfect for us gardeners, beach trip and any outdoor activities

    Simply juice them! Whether they look funny and maybe over-ripe; they are still great cucumbers!
    I like mine as raw juice but it only lasts for 24 hours (packed with more nutrients) but make it last longer, you can steep them for 5-7 mins on low heat. Refrigerator up for 6 days!

    You can add more benefits into your mist toner too, add aloe Vera juice and even tea tree essential oils!
