Juz 27: Reflections (al-Hadeed:13)
At the beginning of this Juz, we are encouraged to run towards Allah (swt):
فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّـهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. [al-Dhariyaat:50]

Then in Surah al-Waqi'ah, the saabiqoon are praised:
وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ ﴿١٠﴾ أُولَـٰئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ
And the forerunners, the forerunners - Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] [al-Waqi'ah:10-11]

And then towards the end of the Juz, we are commanded to be of the forerunners...
سَابِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ
Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth...
.
☪️As Ramadan is coming to an end and our recitation of the Quran is nearing its completion, we are given a profound message that we shouldn't stop here, we should continue even after and race ahead towards righteousness. We should hasten to those actions that will become a means of our forgiveness and entrance into Paradise. One such action among many others is treading the path of knowledge!
The Prophet (saw) said,
وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إلَى الْجَنَّةِ
"And whoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise." [Muslim]
May Allah grant us beneficial knowledge.
