おはようございます。

昨日、山で丸太運びをしていたため、
今朝起きたら上腕二頭筋、特に左が筋肉痛の佐藤愛です。
でも、ペアになる上腕三頭筋がそんなにダメージがないのは、
ゆっくり丸太を下げるではなく、
丸太投げをしていたからでしょう！

今日のアップデート記事（と呼んでほぼ100％書き換え…）は大腿四頭筋とハムストリングスについて。
腕の二頭筋と三頭筋のようにペアになって働く筋肉ですので、
どっちかが弱いと（日常生活の癖で使いやすいほうがある、レッスン前のストレッチで一時的に弱くしているのも含む）
どっちかが多く働かなければいけません。

Pics - Treating patients at Gaza

I had the opportunity to work at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza for 2 weeks before was told to evacuate way back in 2009 during the war.
Many was bombed-related injuries .
The hospital was saturated with people including women and children .
Bed wasn’t enough .
Medicines were shortage .
Equipment were ill equipped.
Operations were performed mostly in the dark with no electricity sometimes .
The generators were not functioning .
I met many other Arab doctors who were just as good . - Alhamdulillah

Many of the patients were blocked and unable to cross the border for access to medicine and better treatment .
Many humanitarian effort including loads of Medicine and Equipment were stranded outside the border unable to get in .
Only the lucky few get through with strict documentation .

Those were the days .
I pray that conditions are getting better as we speak .

จิ้งกุ่ง จิ้งโกร่ง หรือ จิโปม เป็นชื่อท้องถิ่นของจิ้งหรีดขนาดใหญ่ชนิดหนึ่งในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Brachytrupes portentosus Lichtenstein อยู่ในวงศ์ Gryllidae อันดับ Orthoptera ลำตัวสีน้ำตาลจนถึงน้ำตาลเข้ม ส่วนหัวมีขนาดใหญ่ ตารวม (compound eye) ใหญ่มีสีน้ำตาลดำ ปากเป็นแบบปากกัดกิน มีกราม (mandible) ขนาดใหญ่ หนวดแบบเส้นด้าย (filifrom) มีลักษณะเป็นปล้องเล็กๆ ขาหลังเป็นแบบขากระโดดมีฟีเมอร์ (femur) ขนาดเล็บใหญ่ (claw) 2 อัน ตัวผู้และตัวเมียมีความแตกต่างกัน โดยตัวเมียมีผิวปีกคู่หน้าเรียบ แต่ของตัวผู้จะย่น ขรุขระอีกทั้งตัวผู้มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าตัวเมีย
จิ้งกุ่งเป็นแมลงที่มีกิจกรรมต่างๆ ในตอนกลางคืน (noctural behavior) ในช่วงเวลากลางวันจิ้งกุ่งจะหลบอาศัยอยู่ในรูโดยไม่ออกมา จิ้งกุ่งขุดรูโดยการใช้ขาคู่หน้าขุดดินและใช้ส่วนหัวดันดินขึ้นมา รูจิ้งกุ่งยาวราว50 – 60 เซนติเมตร ปกติจะอาศัยอยู่บริเวณก้นรู รูละ 1 ตัว อาจจะพบจิ้งกุ่งรูละ 2 ตัวได้เช่นกันในช่วงฤดูผสมพันธุ์ จิ้งกุ่งจะขึ้นมาจากรูเพื่อกินอาหารในช่วงกลางคืน มันจะกินเป็นใบพืชหลายชนิด แต่มันมักจะชอบใบพืชที่มีรสชาดผาดอมเปรี้ยว อีกทั้งมักจะนำอาหารกลับลงไปเก็บไว้ในรู
