How good is Japanese food at Singapore’s food court? To find out, I visited a local food court and tried 5 menu from a Japanese stall. To be honest, I have never really tried Japanese food at a food court because they don’t really look that authentic and good... Hopefully this video will change my perspective. Let’s feast.

Just next to the famous lake Inba, in the Sakura open space, we found a Dutch-style windmill surrounded by delicate yet cheerful cosmos flowers. The windmill 'De Liefde' (donated by the Netherlands) is apparently one of the important landmarks of Sakura City. We were told that the flowers weren’t at their best condition due to a recent typhoon. You can also pluck and bring back the flowers after paying 300 Yen!
The best time to visit is Spring during the Sakura Tulip Festa, featuring over 70 types of tulips. In summer, sunflowers and fireworks on lake Inba attract many Japanese and occasionally foreign tourists.

The HKU Sport Climbing Team is now looking for new teammates to add to the exhilarating energy that surrounds the area when we climb. We will be holding our Team Selection, details are as follows:-
Dates: 20th, 22nd & 27th September (must attend all three sessions)
Venue: Climbing Wall, Stanley Ho Sports Centre
Time: 19:00-21:30
Fee: Free for all club members
Whilst we do not expect prior climbing experience, we are looking for committed students with a good sense of coordination and competitiveness; and most importantly, students with the willingness to develop a passion for the sport. Experience in other sports is preferable, though not essential.
