Thief Rents Luxury Office to Steal Rolex
.
Summary:
As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover. Fooled by the luxury coworking space where the transaction took place, a Rolex wristwatch seller was duped into letting his customer “borrow” the $191,000 watch for authenticity verification, believing that no one working at such a high-end establishment would run off. You do not have to be a genius to figure out what happened next.
.
Language Enhancement:
+ into doing sth. e.g. Were you even sure that the caller was actually your son before you wired him the money? Clearly you’re duped.
e.g. I have heard that Jason and Carol have recently become dupes in a “London gold” scam. —————————————————
