    ipad的名字來源就是Star Trek當中的Padd (個人訪問顯示裝置)

    One of our PADDs, on Deep Space Nine about 24 years ago, when it was still science fiction. We spray glued a printout onto a piece of wood. Apple iPad was totally influenced by what we were doing on DS9 and TNG, in fact they wanted to call it a PADD (Personal Access Display Device), but couldn't come to an agreement with the studio.
