A New Vision

“After these things Yahweh’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”” (Genesis‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

When Abram was feeling afraid of a retaliation from the enemies he had just defeated, God showed him a vision of a shield.

When you have an inward vision of doom and gloom, God will work to replace the image you have inside.

It is so important to see godly visions about all the areas of your life.

Finances, marriage, children, health, family, ministry, business, job.

What inward images do these words trigger? If you are seeing a negative image, it shows that there is a vision which must be replaced.

Ask God to give you a fresh vision for that area. He may lead you to a Bible verse that contains an imagery to help you replace a vision of dread with a vision of confident hope.

The apostle Paul taught about the shield of “the” faith.

“above all, having taken up the shield of the faith, in which ye shall be able all the fiery darts of the evil one to quench,” (Ephesians‬ ‭6:16‬ ‭YLT98‬‬)

Many English translations of the verse above omit the word “the” before the word “faith”. If you look at the original Greek, there is a “tēs” which means “the (referring to the definite article)”.

If you do a simple search of “the faith” in the New Testament, it almost always refers to the faith in Christ Jesus, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its totality.

“But after some days, Felix came with Drusilla, his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.” (Acts‬ ‭24:24‬ ‭WEB‬)

When you believe that you are righteous and forgiven because Jesus died at the cross, was buried, and was raised to everlasting life on the third day, you will experience God as your shield.

You can enjoy divine protection when you are in faith. When you are fearful, you are in unbelief. However, thank God that we can have a new vision. What negative visions are you seeing in your heart? It’s time to get new ones in God’s word to replace them!

千軍萬馬Caligula

北美Netflix最近上了一部關於日本AV界傳奇人物‘村西透’ 的節目. 透露他8,90年代是如何建立自己的色情王國.
當日本AV界正在爆發的同時, 地球另一邊卻廣播著一部任何人也想像不到的色情作品. 亦成了當時成本最巨大和至今票房最高的A片: Caligula.

故事講述羅馬暴君‘卡利古拉’ 的一生. 由天真無邪的小伙子上升成為萬惡淫為首的獨裁者. 直至他最終的沒落和死亡. 整部電影也是用一種極致淫亂及暴力的方法去處理. 導致在多個國家也將他變成禁片.

故事開場是‘卡利古拉’ 和他的親妹妹
‘德魯塞拉’ Drusilla 有各種亂倫行為. 之後‘卡利’ 給指令, 回到宮殿探望將快死亡的親叔叔提比略帝王. Tiberius.

提比略滿身也是性病. 喜歡與未成年的少男一起裸泳. 看到宮中有一些小朋友跟殘疾人士的性表演. 提比略不想死後‘卡利’ 能承繼皇位想將他毒死. ‘卡利’ 卻收買了宮中各人刺殺了提比略. 成為極權的王者. 之後亦將唯一能與自己爭王位的堂弟監禁.公然與自己妹妹亂倫之余, 迫高官的妻子變成妓女. 讓一個邪教的名妓變成羅馬帝國的皇后. 宮中日夜不停進行大型性交party. 最後眾人受不了‘卡利’ 把他和一家人也殺死. 完片.

‘卡利’ 電影遠大目標想成為電影史上一個代表作. 其中用來辨大型性愛Party的金船曾有段時間是史上最貴的電影道具.

説到為何用1700萬製作一部色情電影, 先要説說成人雜誌Penthouse. 60年代未出第一版的Penthouse於70年代已用投資方的身分, 參與㡬部票房成績不錯的電影.
所以1976年老闆Bob Guccione想拍部, 歷史加性愛的大製作.

請的演員包括那年代的小生Malcom mcdowell, 實力派演員Peter O’Toole 等等. 這些主流明星拍攝時不知道是色情片. 之後, 才加入大量的無關性愛場面. 卡利背後製作史跟戲中卡利的一生同樣複雜.
電影初時的劇本是請到美國名作家Gore Vidal執筆. Vidal根據羅馬歷史把同性戀的提材大量方在劇中. 但作為色情雜誌的Penthouse為推廣其下的女星迫意大利導演Tinto Brass更改劇本的原意. 加入無謂的女同志性場面. Vidal因此拒絕跟電影拉上關係. 之後電影的導演Tinto brass亦因為Penthouse, 過份加插性愛場面辭職. 要老闆Bob Guccione自己完成Caligula.

原本一部90分鐘的電影加了接近一個小時的性愛場面, 總共時間爲156分鐘.

負評如潮除了性愛場面外, 還有電影表現慾望與權力交叉點的境況. 電影其中一個最難忘的場面是‘卡利’ 參加一對新人的婚禮. 得知新娘是處女後‘卡利’ 借用送上祝福之名去將新娘在她老公面前強姦. 拿下她的第一次. 之後還在新娘面前拿去她老公屁股的第一次. 之後將他折摩, 殺死, 後切下他的陽巨. 給狗吃.

多名觀眾, 甚至影評也因此看不完‘卡利’ 就離場. 令到Caligula常常出現在爛片排名中. 但該電影近年給視為一部cult classic. 對之後的3級電影亦變成一個藍圖. 香港電影中, 3D肉蒲團其實有跟著‘卡利’ 的故事推進.

‘萊昂納多’ 在訪問中亦提到他演‘華爾街之狼’ 一些荒唐戲份時, 亦有模仿Caligula的演出. 甚至現有的美國政局荒誕也有指相似電影劇情.

那麼複雜的製作. 低俗的念頭. 為何現在還是直得一提呢? 有影評人説是因為能騙到那麼大明星去拍一部四級電影本身已經是一種成就. 但我本人其實也極為受這電影影響. 之前暗網仔出街拍過有女生爲我畫了畫. 其中一幅造型就是califula造型. 我覺得這部電影影片我的原因是我本身讀政治的. 而我覺得每個人心入面對極權都多少有一點慾望. 不是說我人生理想是想成為一個大淫君. 而我喜歡‘卡利’ 能作為一個年輕人在羅馬制度作能出一個反叛. 即使世人是不接收. 即使我死. 只是在台上有一該, 我表演著自己. I don’t give a fuck.
如果這片不是那麼多無謂性愛場面我一定給多些人看. 但現在Caligula只能是靜靜藏於我心底的一個慾念.
