To be, or not to be: that is the question
我最近認識了莎士比亞，還有朱生豪。
莎士比亞是著名的劇作家，從小到大我只知道他的名字，也在逛書店的時候常常看……見他的書。
讀的方面，也不是我不要。我看不懂啦！🤣每次打開書本，眼睛快速掃描幾頁，腦袋裏面就會出現 404 error 的字眼😵💫
英文版的太多古老詞匯，中文版的太多讓我記不住的譯名。我真的很害怕看到譯名，像《哈姆雷特》的人物介紹頁就可以看到一整排，最後一個字是“斯”的角色譯名，而且名字的長度也可以有5個字那麽多 🥲
雖然以前以爲自己永遠都不會碰這些劇本，但過了那麽多年再拿起這本由朱生豪（1912-1944） 翻譯的《仲夏夜之夢》（A Midsummer Night’s Dream）的時候，我竟然莫名地對它非常感興趣～～
他的翻譯很活潑，連原文裏面押韻的部分他也會跟著押～
像這樣：
英文版：
Through the forest have I gone.
But Athenian found I none.
On whose eyes I might approve
This flower’s force in stirring love.
超强翻譯中文版：
我已經在森林中間走遍，
但雅典認可還不曾瞧見，
我要把這花液在他眼上
試一試激動愛情的力量。
（劇中“仙后”被人用神奇花液敷了一下眼膜，對一個驢頭人（？？）激起了愛情的力量 這劇情與我想象的莎士比亞差太多了！！！喜歡~）
朱生豪是較早翻譯，而且翻譯最多最多莎士比亞作品的中國人，也因爲他處於的年代的關係，雖然説劇本是翻譯的，但還是可以感受到濃濃的中文韻味，又完全沒有偏離原文的意義。
原本他還會用一些出現在莎士比亞世界好像有點好笑的用詞，像“修女”他譯成“尼姑”，“國王”是“皇上”，“修道院”是“尼姑庵”，“皇后”是“娘娘”等。後來的出版社都把這些詞改得更現代化，但我覺得他那樣做肯定會讓當時的讀者與莎士比亞的作品靠得更近~
我其實很希望讀到原版的譯作 🤣
感覺好像在看歐洲上演的《延禧攻略》一樣~
