【獻花悼念輕生學童儀式】圍吳克儉舊生發言

本學年已接連發生多宗學童輕生事件，一群家長為表達愛惜下一代的情意，以及對廿多位輕生的學童的惋惜，今日（3月25日）舉行「神復活了，孩子卻回不來」的活動，於銅鑼灣行人專用區舉行獻花悼念儀式。

教育局局長吳克儉上星期出席天水圍伊利沙伯舊生會湯國華中學校慶活動後，被過百名學生包圍抗議，有參與行動的該校舊生黎先生表示，當日參與行動的目的，就是要保護想表達意見的學生。

他認為，小朋友自殺都有苦衷，是一個嚴肅的控訴，除了學校，最能夠做到事的就是家長，只要家長帶頭企硬支持學生，反對苛刻的功課及測驗，學校是必須處理。

他引用了 Eleanor Roosevel 的金句，指"Do what you feel in your heart to be right for you will be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do and damned if you don't"，意思是即使做與不做，無論如何都會受到批評，但只要跟著良知去做，做一定沒有錯。
