提到這個我也有問題想發問。

Who is your dad? 請問這句當中主詞是who還是your dad？

我記得好像有人跟我提過應該是your dad

但我想問，

My dad is the man standing at the door.
----------------------------
主詞 + beV + 主 詞 補 語

根據劃底線造原問句，所以答案應該是：Who is your dad?

答句中的my dad是主詞，所以問句中your dad就是主詞


但是若句子變成

The man standing at the door is my dad.
----------------------------
主 詞 + beV +主詞補語

而這句話根據劃底線造原問句，答案應該也是：Who is your dad?

答句中的my dad是主詞補語，所以問句中your dad應該也是主詞補語

那照理講，此時應該是who變成主詞吧？

那如果要合併底下兩句話
I don't know.
Who is your dad?

會怎麼合併？
是I don't know who is your dad.還是I don't know who your dad is.

好像大家都是說後者，

那想請教大家是否我上述的觀念有誤呢？

若無誤為何兩句話的合併，大家都用I don't know who your dad is.
而非I don't know who is your dad.
