I find my skill of deciphering A’s different ‘ums’ and ‘ahs’ quite amazing, I can also tell between the different kinds of ‘roars’ to the different animals he’s referring to #patonback But there’s one word I couldn’t understood for the longest time, it sounded something like “Dak Ji” to me. It kind of sounds like the name of a Korean paper throwing game (similar to POG), which I use to watch on the Korean “Running Man” show, but its been a very long time since I watched it, so it couldn’t have been from there 😂 and so, this mystery has been unsolved for a few months. Until one day he pointed at his elephant and said “Dak Ji”!! That’s when it clicked “Dak Ji” is close to elephant in mandarin “Da Xiang”! Oh man, did I ever feel accomplished 😏 another #patonback again What are some sounds or words your little one says that you find yourself translating for others often? On A’s Plate: .
