คุณ Bill Rosemann รองประธานฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ของ Marvel Games ได้พูดคุยเกี่ยวกับ Spider-Man 2 ที่เพิ่งประกาศตัวในงาน PlayStation Showcase 2021 ที่ผ่านมา ในพ็อดแคสต์ This Week in Marvel โดยเขากล่าวว่า Spider-Man 2 จะมีโทนของเนื้อหาที่ "ดาร์คกว่า" ภาคแรก

"ถ้า Spider-Man ภาคแรกคือ Star Wars แล้ว Spider-Man 2 ก็จะประมาณภาค Empire [Strike Back] มันจะดาร์คขึ้นนิดหน่อย"
เขากล่าว

ซึ่งคุณ Rosemann กล่าวอีกว่า Spider-Man 2 "จะมีทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างที่ผู้เล่นชื่นชอบ" ทั้งใน Spider-Man ภาคแรก และ Spider-Man: Miles Morales แต่จะใส่เข้ามา "มากยิ่งกว่านั้น"

"จะมีศัตรูมากหน้าหลายตาเข้ามา และที่ผมพูดได้ก็คือ เนื้อเรื่องจะสานต่อและสนุกขึ้นอย่างมากจาก Marvel’s Spider-Man ไปจนถึง Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales ผมไม่อยากจะเปิดเผยอะไรมากเกินไปนัก แต่มันจะเป็นเนื้อเรื่องต่อไปแบบเล่นใหญ่ที่เต็มไปด้วยปมประเด็นเนื้อเรื่อง และตัวละครมากมายที่เคยอยู่ใน 2 เกมภาคแรก คุณจะได้เห็นพวกเขาในภาคนี้ด้วย"

นอกจากนี้คุณ Rosemann ยังได้กล่าวถึง Wolverine อีกเกมหนึ่งที่ทาง Insomniac Games พัฒนาอยู่และเปิดตัวพร้อมกันกับ Spider-Man 2 แบบคร่าวๆ ด้วย

"ถ้าคุณย้อนกลับไปดูวิดีโอตัวอย่างที่เปิดตัว Wolverine ฉากด้านหลังของ Logan คือเขาอยู่ในบาร์ มันเต็มไปด้วย Easter Eggs ซึ่งเหล่านักสืบในโลกอินเตอร์เน็ตได้หาเจอบางส่วนแล้ว แต่พวกเขายังพบ Easter Eggs ไม่ครบทั้งหมด ซึ่งสุดท้ายแล้ว เราจะมีการเปิดเผยว่า Wolverine จะวางจำหน่ายเมื่อใด และผมจะขอบอกว่า ย้อนกลับไปดูวิดีโอ Trailer พวกนั้นเถอะ มันเต็มไปด้วย Easter Eggs และรายละเอียดเล็กๆ มากมาย"

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 มีกำหนดวางจำหน่ายบน PS5 ในปี 2023 ส่วน Marvel's Wolverine ยังไม่มีกำหนด แต่จะลงให้กับ PS5 เช่นเดียวกัน

Bill Roseman รองประธานฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ของ Marvel เผยในรายการ Podcast ว่า Marvel's Spider-Man 2 จะเป็นเกมภาคต่อที่ "ดาร์ค" กว่าเดิมเล็กน้อย

โดย Rosemann ให้คำนิยามว่าถ้าตัวเกมภาคแรกนั้นเหมือนกับ Star Wars ในเกมภาคที่ 2 ก็จะเป็น Empire Strikes Back ซึ่งวายร้ายอย่าง Venom จะก้าวเข้ามาสู่โลกภายในเกมนี้

ทั้งนี้ก็ยังไม่มีรายละเอียดเปิดเผยออกมามากนัก ว่าเรื่องราวในตัวเกมนี้จะเป็นอย่างไร และต้องรอชมวิดีโอตัวอย่างที่จะตามมาหลังจากนี้กันอีกครั้ง

สำหรับเกม Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 จะมีทั้ง Peter Parker และ Miles Morales มาปรากฏอยู่ในเกม โดยยังคงเป็นประสบการณ์การเล่นแบบ Single Player เช่นเดียวกับภาคก่อนหน้า ขณะที่ตัวเกมก็จะมีทั้ง Ryan Smith มานั่งแท่นผู้กำกับ และ Bryan Intihar เป็นผู้กำกับฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ของทีมงาน

今日は「違い」や「相違点」を意味する「Difference」を、ネイティブの人達は日常会話の中でどのように応用しているのかご紹介いたします。「違い」としてだけでなく、表現の仕方によって他にも色々な意味を成す便利な単語なんです。

1) Tell the difference (between A & B)
→「（AとBの）違いが分かる」

2つの物を比較し、それぞれの「区別がつく」や「違いが分かる」は「Tell the difference between A and B」を使って表現します。違いが分かる場合は「I can tell the difference」、区別がつかない場合は「I can't tell the difference」となります。例えば、コーラとペプシの違いが分かる場合は「I can tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi」になります。
　
✔「I can/can't tell the difference」だけで「違いが分かる・違いが分からない」を意味する。
　
＜例文＞
　
Can you tell the difference between cheap sake and expensive sake?
（安い日本酒と高級な日本酒の違いが分かりますか？）
　
I can tell the difference. Jennifer's hair is a little darker than her sisters.
（2人の違いは分かります。ジェニファーさんの方が妹より髪の毛が黒いです。）

相違点が一切なく「全く同じだよ」と言いたい場合は「There's no difference」が使われます。「It's the same」と同じ意味を成します。例えば、店員さんが「それらの商品の違いはなんですか？」とお客に尋ねられ、特に違いがない場合は「There's no difference.（同じですよ）」と返答します。
　
✔「No difference」と省略してもOK。
　
＜例文＞
　
There's no difference. They are both the same.
（違いはありません。両方とも同じです。）
　
There's no big difference between Family Mart and Lawson. They are both convenience stores.
（ファミリーマートとローソンには大差はありません。両方ともコンビニです。）
　
There's no difference. You can choose whichever you like.

3) Same difference
→「大して変わらない」

「There's no difference」は「全く違いがない」を意味するのに対し、「Same difference」は「ちょっとした違いはあるものの、そこまで重要でない（違いはない）」を意味します。特に自分の発言にちょっとした誤りがあったが、それを相手が「大して変わらないよ」や「同じことだよ」と指摘するような状況でよく使われます。例えば、「ロスからサンフランシスコまで5時間かかりました」と友達に伝えたが、側にいた彼女が「5時間15分だよ」と突っ込み、それを聞いた友達がその彼女に対し「Same difference（同じことだよ）」といった具合で使います。
　
✔「別にどっちでもいいじゃん」という意味合いとして使われる時もある。
　
✔「What difference does it make?」も同じ意味合いを持つ。
　
✔口語的な表現として、友達や同僚などカジュアルな場で使われる。
　
＜例文＞
　
"Salada" "salad" same difference. You know what I mean.
（サラダも"Salad"も大して変わらないでしょう。言いたいことは分かるでしょう。）
　
Same difference. It's only one dollar more.
（1ドルだけの違いなんだから、別にどっちでもいいじゃん。）
　
Same difference. Stop nitpicking.

→「影響を与える」

「Make a difference」を直訳すると「違いを作る」を意味し、何かしらの行動を起こすことで、ポジティブな変化、重大な結果および影響を引き起こすニュアンスが含まれます。例えば、海外で1年間留学したことが、英会話力に大きな影響を与えた場合は「Studying abroad really made a difference」となります。
　
✔「大きな影響を与える」は「Make a big/huge difference」
　
✔「影響がほとんどなかった」は「Make a little difference」
　
＜例文＞
　
Eating healthy really made the difference. I lost 5kg in one month.
（健康的な食事をとった結果、1ヶ月で5キロも痩せました。）
　
My father made a big difference in my life.
（父親は私の人生に大きな影響を与えました。）
　
I want to make a difference in this world.

「Makes no difference」は「どっちでもいいよ」を表す口語的な言い方です。特に、2つの選択肢がある状況で、どちらを選択しても気にしないといったニュアンス含まれます。例えば、友達に「お好み焼きとたこ焼きどっちが食べたい？」って聞かれたら「It makes no difference.（どっちでもいいよ）」という感じで使われます。
　
✔「It doesn't make a difference (to me)」も同じ意味合いを持つ。
　
＜例文＞
　
It makes no difference. It's up to you.
（どっちでもいいよ。任せるよ。）
　
It doesn't make a difference to me. I'm free all day.
（今日は一日中空いているので、何時でもいいですよ。）
　
It makes no difference. Where do you want to go?

[DRIFTER • LIKE YOU DO ]

Part One: The 1st Dimension - DRIFTER

Music has always been an expression of self for JJ. His journey of self-discovery could be traced back to his From M.E. To Myself (2015) album, with him eventually finding the connection between himself and the world, and shared through his Message in a Bottle (2017) album.

In the recent years, JJ embarked on a different route to self-discovery as he shifts the focus of his music from self to “you”. Conveyed through his double EP DRIFTER • LIKE YOU DO, JJ propounds a new direction for self-reflection.

DRIFTER EP features six brand new Mandarin songs that weaved together a complete concept of: What would you do, if you, were not just you? The songs inspire us to contemplate the possibility that our consciousness could determine who we are - there could be multiple endings to every story, and when we believe so, the future will be limitless.

Part Two: The 2nd Dimension - LIKE YOU DO

An extension of Drifter, LIKE YOU DO explores a self-examining concept: What is left after you rid yourself of expectations?

When darkness descends, have you, in pursuit of survival, stumbled upon another version of yourself that is so foreign yet familiar? You could be that drifter, that is the only glimpse of hope left in a despondent world. Which version of you would emerge in face of adversity? If a parallel universe does exist, JJ is breaking out of his shell and introducing the hidden version of himself that we have yet to meet via LIKE YOU DO.

Partnered with new music collaborators Fernando Garibay, Nasri Atweh, Joshua Kissiah Cumbee, Ramiro Padilla and Daniel Padilla, JJ endeavours to offer fresh perspectives and sounds for this EP.

The journey and story of this alternate JJ Lin has just begun.
