【Cynical Boyz 嘻哈教室】
大家好，今天我們要來分享2015年，Lupe Fiasco的歌曲－Deliver。

Lupe的Tetsuo & Youth真的很猛，每首歌都有很多功課可以做。
這首歌藉由披薩外送員送披薩至貧民窟的情形點出貧民窟的現象，以及利用外送員(Deliver，也指deliverance)暗喻所送的披薩(食物、物資，通常披薩都是麵糰[bread]與起司[cheese]組成，而這兩者也有錢的意思)其實是要拯救貧民窟的現象。 然而，在險惡環生的區域，外送員(或是披薩店)不僅會面臨被搶、被偷、更甚是失去性命的情況，結果造成拒絕外送(提供資源)至貧民窟的現象。(https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index…)
在開頭Lupe首先描繪了所謂ghetto的情形，並質問ghetto到底如何產生？＂I always wondered where the ghetto from＂
＂Buzz you in if the bell of my ghetto rung
And if the ghetto lose, that mean a ghetto won＂
通常街區的人都會很警戒外來者，就像戒備森嚴的地方要進去前都要先通過警衛那關。
Lupe用鈴聲譬喻這警覺人的鈴聲有多重意思：
1.警戒
2.喪禮上的鈴聲(funeral toll)
而承接下句，ghetto lose/ghetto won，利用這矛盾的情形暗指有人死了(lose)，所以鈴聲響起，但從ghetto這龍蛇雜處的地方死去或許是更好的選擇(won)。也可以指有人在鬥爭中死了(lose)，另外一個人贏了(won)。而won，Lupe有玩了一點文字遊戲，won，音類似one，藉由死去的人來讓大家更加團結(one)。

hook中也提到由於種種現象造成外送員無法再來，也指這情況永遠沒辦法改善。

第二段Verse點出種族主義、歧視。

利用金字塔階級(資本主義)點出貧窮階級(basement)與高富帥(attic)之間的差異，但也暗諷有錢人的行為，或是任何想力爭上游的人所使用的手段。(addicts)。

All that dope to China, you don't call that trappin'?＂
這段我覺得頗有意思，就像通常對黑人的刻板印象就是會販毒、犯案等，但其實真正最大的販毒者其實不是黑人，而是白人(政府)。 這裡的把毒品送去中國就是指鴉片戰爭。
＂Can I get delivered from the sin?

第三段Lupe暗自祈禱能早日脫離這種階級，期望得到救贖，並希望披薩真的能夠送到。
＂Make a savior out of savage like they made it out of magic＂
讓外送員(savior)能夠送完並平安無事像魔法般神奇的離開。
這裡的 "magic"也指魔術強森得到愛滋但得以控制並存活至今等神奇事蹟，或是生涯上的表現。
在第三段中Lupe也希望種種現象能夠得到平復，但實際上不管這地方多麼暴力、險惡，你始終無法永遠把他拋棄。(就像Kendrick之於Compton)
