💛Now I know where to go if I want to eat dim sums in Yuen Long! An old Hong Kong themed restaurant, using rooster Cutleries 雞公碗 and offering different traditional dim sums, which are harder to find in Hong Kong now. ⁣

My favourite is the squid with curry sauce 咖哩魷魚, it is unexpectedly good plus it is hard to find in elsewhere. Other dim sums are average, only comment is that the rice rolls with barbecue pork 叉燒腸 is not soft enough (both the rice roll and barbecue pork 😅) I like the Rice with Chicken feet and Spare ribs 鳳爪排骨飯 too. A must-eat in the morning when we visited Chinese Restaurant when I were young.⁣

Unlike traditional Chinese restaurant, they also offer different Hong Kong drinks (Milktea 奶茶 and YuenYeung (coffee with tea) 鴛鴦), which can fulfill your two wishes, eating dim sums and having HK drinks, at the same time.⁣

1. 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘰𝘯𝘨-𝘴𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 芒果布甸- I miss that a lot. Kids love Mango Pudding with evaporated milk that is shaped into a heart or a koi fish. But it disappeared from Chinese restaurants in the past few years. ⁣

This is the third time we had our dinner at 616牛肉火鍋專門店 . It is famous for its wide selection of beef, which you can find more than 20 types of beef from different parts of the cow, each has different textures and tastes.⁣

The beef tastes good but it was cut too thin during our first two visits. It was cut into much thicker slices this time 👍🏻 ⁣

There are fifteen 616 hotpot restaurants in Hong Kong. This 616 restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsim has collaborated with Mak’s beer where you can enjoy hotpot and craft beer at the same time. ⁣

1. There’s a piece of paper on the plate when the beef arrives. Don’t throw the paper away as it tells you what you are eating. We asked the staff to take that away (so that I can take better photos) but regretted because then I didn't know which part I was eating.😂⁣
