從字面上來看，bone 是「骨頭」的意思，pick 是「挑選」的意思，當有人說 have a bone to pick with you , 大家覺得什麼意思呢？當對方講這句話的時候，你覺得他的情緒是開心、生氣，還是沮喪的呢？
這個慣用語是「我要對你雞蛋中挑骨頭」的意思嗎？
其實當你說 I have a bone to pick with you 是一個起手式，就是「#我有一件事（#不滿）#要跟你說」或「#我對你（#某件事）#有意見」的意思！然後，接下來就會陳述不滿或有意見的事！通常用這個慣用語就是「#直接告訴對方做了哪些讓自己不開心或困擾的事」，所以情緒上是有點生氣的，然而，當然還是要看講話者的語氣而定！

throw someone under the bus 是一個很口語的句子，在看影片時常會聽到劇中人物用到這個片語，字面上的意思是「#把某人丟到車子下面」, 延伸為「#出賣某人；#為一己私利犧牲他人的意思」，跟 sell someone out 及 stab someone in the back 這兩個慣用語有相似的意思 !
