    昨天間接「目擊」了（我不在群內）在某三萬多人的譯者群組內，圍繞著我的一個討論串、紛爭，其中當然包含了很多的誤解。我其實一點也不在意了，也很謝謝大家如此重視我，但還是想藉由這樣的機會，說些自己的想法。

    在充滿著真真假假資訊的後真相時代 (post-truth era)，「21世紀的21堂課」作者 Yuval Noah 說，每個人都需要更強的心理韌性 (mental resilience) 。他並提到，若有可能，每個人應該培養一些閱讀科學期刊文章的能力（例：若有這樣的能力，討論串裡就不會一直出現 "母語人士" "非母語人士" 這樣的二元分法了、中英夾雜的 code-switching 多功能性也會更明瞭、也不會有某個中文或英文用法到底合不合用的自由心證地帶)。

    在高度競爭、互聯網和社群崛起的社會，我的偶像之一的「恆毅力」一書作者 Angela Duckworth 說，我們需要 intellectual humility (智識上的謙遜)，「不管再不舒服，嘗試去了解和自己看法不同的人的觀點。」

    某教授發文公審我的當時，我正在備以哈佛的幸福課為本的窄式學習新課 “The Happiness Project”，一面看著夥伴在剪輯恆毅力計畫的小電影。這部影片開頭我們提到，21世紀有沒有一堂課，能夠將「個人成長」與「語言學習」，結合在一起。能做這樣的系列課程，我覺得很幸福，所以那件紛爭沒有太大地影響我的情緒。

    世界很亂，人心更是。從前的我可能會發文解釋分析，我如何被誤會，但我決定謝謝那些不認識我、以及沒有理論證據下，批評我的人，也更要謝謝那些挺身而出幫我講話的人，因為我知道在社群網絡上，挺一個人就是替自己貼了一個標籤，謝謝你們的正義感。

    我和創勝文教團隊希望能做的，就是繼續努力，繼續用科學方法 "inform learning and teaching"，並帶更多正能量給台灣社會，畢竟這是台灣現在最需要的了。

    文章講到最後，想要分享給大家我的偶像 Angela Duckworth 最近拍攝的一支影片，其中講到了我很喜歡的一點。其實教育的目標不難設定，就是我們如何變成一個對自己好、對他人好、對社會好的 good person。也就是Martin Luther King 所說的 "Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education."
