這次來介紹一個學寫作的網站
⚡️Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)
這個網站成立於1994年，由美國的普渡大學Purdue University所創立，原先是要提供無法到該校寫作中心諮詢的學生另一個管道，慢慢演變為現在為全世界的人提供各式的寫作資源。

根據網站的說法，他們在2016-2017年間，網站的瀏覽人次有4.1億，超過100多個國家的使用者，可以說非常有名且熱門🔥

OWL上面有非常非常豐富的資源，而且面向相當廣。有寫給ESL學生的、在寫學術寫作的人、寫給教寫作的老師、寫給要求職的人……等等，很適合花點時間鑽研上面有那些東西。

這個網站東西因為真的太多，所以✔強烈建議先瀏覽過Site Map(網站地圖)，從中去尋找所需的資源，不然真的有大海撈針的感覺。不過他的Site Map很大一張，如果還是找不到所需要的東西，網站也有提供搜尋功能可供使用。

在寫這篇文章時，我在網站上隨便點隨便逛，想說找些有趣的東西來分享給大家，結果找到一個我自己也沒聽過的✨I/E Rule，覺得在拼字上蠻實用的，來教大家。

規則如下：
Write I before E
Except after C
Or when it sounds like an A
把I寫在E前面
除了放在C後面
或是唸做A的時候

i在e之前的字：relief, believe, niece, chief, sieve, frieze, field, yield
e在i之前的字：receive, deceive, ceiling, conceit, vein, sleigh, freight, eight
唸起來是A的時候：neighbor, weigh

例外：seize, either, weird, height, foreign, leisure, conscience, counterfeit, forfeit, neither, science, species, sufficient

雖然有一些例外，不過有了這個規則，基本上就不會再搞混到底是ie還是ei囉！

OWL雖然東西真的多到有時候不太好逛，但是很多寶在上面，很建議大家花點時間去挖寶哦！
