二零二零中秋/ #save12hkyouths Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival representing reunion of families. On this day, the moon is at its roundest and brightest. As a symbol of completeness and reunion, people appreciate the full moon with their loved ones at this festival. However, in Hong Kongers’ eyes, the full moon will never be complete as it was before. Most of the people here lose their home, family members, friends, comrades... and most importantly, their freedom. Last month, 12 Hong Kong youths who fled by boat for Taiwan were caught by Beijing at the sea. They were detained in mainland China as ‘separatists’. Their families had appointed lawyers to reach these youngsters, but these lawyers were turned away. The staff of the detention centre claimed that these youths had appointed their own lawyers, who were obviously appointed by Beijing. At this moment, they are still under China’s detention without any support and help from Hong Kong government. Apart from these twelve young people, many Hong Kongers are arrested and prisoned. Some even sacrificed their lives to show their strong determination in fighting for freedom and justice. Some chose to flee Hong Kong and leave their family so as to escape from unjust political persecution. At this festival symbolizing reunion, Hong Kongers are in fact experiencing fear, separation from loved ones, injustice... Yet, I believe distance can’t keep us apart. We are all living under the same sky, the same full moon. May we, souls fighting for freedom and justice, stand as one and fight against tyranny. 對好多香港人來講，即使天上嘅月亮有幾圓，佢地眼中嘅月亮永遠都係有缺口，因為佢地唔至失去咗香港呢個屋企，可能仲失去咗摯親、摯友、愛人、手足⋯⋯仲有寶貴嘅自由。願祝福可以到達被送中嘅十二位手足、流亡台灣或海外嘅手足、住喺天上嘅手足、喺牢獄之中嘅手足、受情緒困擾嘅手足⋯⋯如果好人都未必一定一生平安的話，我希望你地知道你地唔會被遺忘。即使大家相隔幾遠，我地愛香港、追求自由嘅靈魂都係緊緊相連。請大家繼續關注被送中12手足嘅情況，繼續努力打國際戰線，繼續課金俾支援被捕/手足基金，繼續做旁聽師，繼續寫信俾在囚手足，繼續支持黃色經濟圈，繼續發聲，繼續練體能，繼續be water⋯諗到咩都可以做，要做一定有野做。#hongkongerpty 題外話：畫天燈只係為咗達到「讓祝福飄到好遠、好高」嘅意義，但希望大家去台灣旅行都盡量唔好為咗一時嘅開心，為咗影張靚相而去放天燈啦🤢因為天燈落地之後可能會引發山火，製造出來嘅垃圾又會污染環境，落到河川仲會影響水中動物嘅自然生態，仲有仲有會對夜行動物造成干擾⋯雖然台灣唔少地方都仲保留放天燈嘅傳統，要人完全唔放天燈都大概係冇可能；但當地傳統好難一時半刻難以改變姐，遊客一人做啲都已經可以發揮力量。 #staycuteprocreate
