Onlookers Arrested for Urging Suicide Attempter On
.
Summary:
“Just jump already” and “You won’t die” were some of the last words a 19-year-old girl in China heard as she, suffering from depression, snapped and leapt to her death among the jeering whistles from the onlookers, a few of whom even doubted that the commotion was part of her plan to gain fame. Such indifference not only provoked nationwide condemnation, but also got some disorder inciters detained by the police.
