2019-02-19 22:34:312006年度港姐冠軍陳茵媺（Aimee Chan）是加拿大籍華人，英語程度可說和一般native speaking的外國人無異。我們使用的影片節錄自Aimee接受星加坡傳媒訪問的片段，片中可見，Aimee的語速相當快。由於語速婆快，陳茵媺在她的訪問裏用到很多與第一語言用家（native speakers）會使用的發音技巧包括ellision （省音）、弱化（vowel weakening）和連音（connected seech）。讓我們好好利用陳茵媺（Aimee Chan）的範例，學習聆聽高語速的native English和練習講英語講得像native speakers一樣流利吧。

關於味道 (flavor) 的種種表達方法，特別是「濃味」或者「淡味」，我們一般可以說Could you add more seasoning to the food? (可以加多點調味料嗎？) 或者Could you not use so much seasoning? (可以令食物清淡一點嗎？)
事實上，我們還能從食物的「口感」及「質感」來描述不同的味道：
• 多辣 / 少辣: spicier / less spicy
• 多甜 / 少甜: sweeter / less sweet
• 較酸 / 少酸: more sour / not as sour
• 加多點胡椒 / 少點胡椒: more pepper / not too much pepper
• 湯汁較濃: thicker
• 渣較多: chunkier
• 奶油味濃: creamier
• 煙燻味重: smokier
• 較有咬勁: more chewy
• 較脆: crispier
• 無味道: bland
• 濃味 / 淡味 (指酒或咖啡): stronger / weaker
日後如果在飲食上，你有不同的「要求」，你便需要用上這些不同的詞彙，譬如：
• [情境一] 要求較脆: crispier
