@aileenscuisine Osmanthus Jellies 🧡💛 First of all thank you @joeyfoodventures for sending over these lovely jellies. I’ve had all kinds of jellies aka agar-agar before, my mom used to make simple ones at home, but this is my first time trying out premium jellies like these! Like the ones you can only see them on high end restaurants’ menus 🥺✨ here’s what I received: Osmanthus Jellies RM78/ A box of 12 This box comes in two different flavoured jellies, Goji Berries and Tie Guan Yin. I was amazed by how fresh, plump and sweet the goji berries were! Like you can really tell how premium the quality is, every bite just screams ✨ boujee ✨ They’re really generous with the amount of goji berries, you can even get 1-2 of them in each bite. My personal favourite would be the Tie Guan Yin flavoured ones as they’re less sweet. Fyi Tie Guan Yin is a premium variety of Chinese Oolong Tea and it’s also known as Iron Goddess Tea 🌻 These are packed with fruity and earthy notes from the Chinese tea leaves. If you’re a huge fan of rich & aromatic flavours, you’ll definitely love this👌🏻 As for the osmanthus jellies themselves, they have a firm, bouncy and chewy texture. The osmanthus petals have a unique flavour which is only slightly bitter and very mildly sweet. This completely complimented both the sweetness from the Goji Berries and also the subtle roasted bitterness from the Tie Guan Yin. I still can’t get over the fact that they’re such perfect pairs even until today. Highlights: The packaging itself is very classy and beautiful. It’s something I would buy and give it to my friends and family. The jellies are also cling wrapped very tightly inside, so you don’t have to worry about spilling them. Overall a very light & healthy snack and I truly enjoyed them! Like the case judged by King Solomon about two mothers fighting for the baby - the real one would never pull the baby’s arm just for getting it. - There are thousands of reasons why people have fights. I have realized a typical type - FEAR. - Parents have fears about worrying their teenage children, or people have fears about losing their partners. And some others: “ fears of not being understood“, “ fears of being discovered that lacking self confidence“, “fears of being dumped”, and etc. - Sometimes your fear is hidden deeply. You have to give on communicate back and forth to dig it out with the person you’re having fight with. You may miss the timing to understand and compromise with each other if one doesn’t know how to ask questions and the other is not willing to open up the mind and clarify himself. - Anyway, I took these steps within 3 days to upgrade my knowledge of knowing myself over a fight: 1. [ List out all the reasons you mention ] 2. [ Cross over the reasons and get to know if you’re fearing for something and what that would be ] 3. [ To admit your fear to the other person ] 4. [ Choose whether you’re going take the chance to break through your own fear ] 5. Sometimes we can’t see our blindspot. There are many ways to view the way we see the world. Sometimes we view it the way we’re not supposed to and it’s hard to see what is really there for us to seize…we lose our ‘carpè diem’ so to speak. We need an experienced mentor, a weathered teacher to become our mirror. They can help us to reflect and clarify our dreams in some beautiful ways, to show our blindspots.
