Today’s dish is not from my mothers recipe hehehe .. this is a dish that I picked up and fallen in loved with thru my travels to The Land Of Smiles , Thailand. I remembered one of my good buddy that I was traveling thru inner Asia asked me “you love this dish so much don’t you?” I said “how do you know?”
His reply nearly chocked me with laughter when he answered “well, it’s not hard to guess since this is the one dish that you ordered the most frequent since we have been on the road. From south Thailand to now Vientiane in Laos “ hehehehehe.. yup , I love this dish. The fresh smell of Thai Basil, the hot tangy taste of Cili and oyster sauce and a tinge of fish sauce to bring that Ong Bak kick to it.. this is my go to dish when i miss Thailand . Eaten best with hot white rice and Nam prik Kapee .. oiii Aroii Mak Mak .. today’s recipe is “Pad Gra Prow, Thai Basil Beef” •

My boyfriend ( Now husband ) who composed, arranged produced this song #滿天飛 for me 23 years ago. I remember clearly that I couldn't even speak cantonese when I was recording it, I just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible because it is one of the most difficult songs to sing. I didn't really appreciate the effort he put into and the meaning behind the story. Until recently I've been offered the chance to perform it live on TV, then suddenly it hit me so hard that I have even chocked a couple of times during practice... Finally, I realized that he was starting to fall in love with me when he wrote it💘 Man, I was dumb! Some of you might find a bit corny, but I couldn't care less, I just want to share the true love story with people who appreciate music! And I hope it's not too late to say ”Thank you” to him Pal Sinn

I’m a victim of abuse. I’ve been stepped on, verbally abused, mentally abused and even physically abused where I had to get the back of my head stitched. So scared because I was made to cut contact with everyone. With no help, no money and no one to go to. I was left alone handling it.

I had phones taken smashed, I had my crowns,my sash, my trophies broken and smashed. I had been left alone in places where I had no money and no phone to help me get home from wherever I was. I was scolded if I can’t finish my food and forced to finish them even though I physically cannot push in the food anymore, I cry eating and I stopped liking food because I’m so scared I that I cannot finish my food. I got my dogs given away when I was away. I got screamed and shouted in the shopping malls. I got blackmailed, I got threatened, I got chocked countless time and there is so many time I just wanted to let him kill me because I couldn’t stand another day being in that position anymore.

So today, This is my first time voicing out to everyone including my parents.

There is no point hiding, there is no point living under fear, there is no point to be scared.
|
I am here today to tell all the girls out there, WALK AWAY if he doesn’t treat you right, WALK AWAY because abusers NEVER change. BE BRAVE and there will always be something bigger for you.
