20 years ago in 1999, I visited Suria KLCC for the very first time. Back then, it was the chicest mall, everyone wants to go to. It was huge, right smack underneath the tallest twin towers in the world. Young people like me would rasa ‘IN’ sangat kalau datang sini. I remember visiting this mall whenever I had the chance. Even when I don't have much money - y'know, being a 19yo college kid with no such thing as allowances. Unless my arwah father has a bit more to spare for me, or when friends are kind to treat me 😄 - oh good times! Then, I had the experience to work temporarily for few months at Aseana boutique (by Melium) selling oriental home decor, before flying off to pursue my degree in NZ. I'm sure some of you would remember that row of stores 😄 In 2003, I started working in this creative agency (which I’m still with btw) located within the city centre, so Suria is still the mall I frequently go to. I also remember having my first date there and chilling with my friends at Dome, Chinoz or Starbucks. Fast forward to 2019, @suriaklccmall remains prestigious, relevant, constantly refurbishing and updating their tenants. 'Always something new' is after all their motto. Now, the mall even has its own Men's Fashion Gallery, with many brands very close to my heart. There's Dunhill, Boss, Dior Men, Omega, Montblanc, Bally, Coach, Michael Kors, even Trufitt & Hill, all on one dedicated floor. Then there are others I love like Longchamp, Furla, Kens Apothecary, Lacoste, Sacoor Brothers, Ted Baker and Uniqlo on other areas of the mall too!
