About Waves - an accidental EP I came up with about grief, when I was dealing with the sudden but terminal cancer and eventual death of my most beloved dog, Leif. I lost Leif to advanced lymphoma, and this is all I could do. Music, after all.

I don’t think I am able to perform these songs live. Maybe never. No one can ever tell you how long grief will last. As a matter of fact, no one should ever tell you how and when to feel. Take your time. Just remember, grief comes like waves, if you’re not standing on your feet, you might be swept away and never found again. In time, you might learn to let it become a part of you. You will learn to live again, with a whole new perspective. Or not.

I am sorry, you are all alone in feeling this, but you’re definitely not alone in this world.

Waves come and go. So does life.

Love lifts you up high, pain gives you weight to put your feet on the ground. You are only complete when you have truly experienced loss, but there’s no rush. In the meantime, may these songs give you some comfort, as they did to me.

這張有關接受死亡的專輯是一個意外。2021年6月，就在我知道只有八歲的小狗阿富患上末期淋巴癌的時候，我在音樂製作裏找到一點安慰與出口。

有多少心理準備以及理性分析，悲傷來的時候永遠會把你震撼，在受到巨大衝擊之後拾起碎片，你嘗試重新思考生命及生活。經驗不會對你有幫助，頂多只是讓你知道你自己有某些感覺神經，而每一次的體驗也是新鮮的；再多的意見和智慧都只是不設實際的雜音，世上沒有人可以告訴你怎樣感受，什麼方法才是對的，需要經歷多久… 這是一條很孤獨，而只能夠靠自己走的路。

更糟糕的是，它會用潮水的方式來襲，一下一下拍打你的心。我們不能阻止潮水的來去，唯一可以做的，就是感受，讓所有溫度濕度風雨陽光一一穿過你的身心，謙愻地活在這一刻。

給生命裏曾經失去過什麼的朋友，你並不是一個人。

September postcards sent out today!

I was walking in Dublin and saw this cute little shop, they did their own postcards. I got all 4 versions they had, so this time you are going to receive different things.

And, when I was buying stamps in the post office, ALL of the stamp packages for international letter mailing were bought by me, and still 10 missing. So, apart from the different designs of the postcards, there will be 10 lucky patreons who will get to see that 10 stamps, ALL DIFFERENT, generated right out from the machine.

There’s a specific one got my attention. It is a ticket to THE Titanic (they made it into a stamp!). I put it on randomly at the end after signing all individual cards.

So, anyone who gets it please post it on IG, I will send you something special next month.
