所以就來錄了
『Coldplay 的 Viva la Vida 』
是西班牙文的"生命萬歲 活在當下"的意思
一開始聽到真的非常喜歡他的弦律
再加上鼓聲一進來 馬上身體跟著搖擺
因此好奇而查了一下這首歌的歌詞
才發現他的歌詞非常有深度
Coldplay用輕快異常的節奏
敘述了一段歷史的蒼涼，反差強烈，意味十足。
歌詞第一段
i used to rule the world, seas would rise when i gave the word
是講拿破崙回顧自己的過去的榮耀
但如今發現自己無法統治並擁有世界
相反只能sweep the streets i used to own。
副歌部分的bells and choirs都像征著葬禮的進行
也就是說拿破崙預示到自己的死亡
而mirror, sword和shield都是典型基督教的象徵
意味著拿破崙希望能夠升上天堂。
從wicked and wild wing到who would ever want to be king
都是他在懷念曾經擁有的權力和地位。
head on a silver plate指的就是法國
