換個方式對自己說話吧。
我目前讀的課程有包括是商業管理、金融等等，跟我以前所學大相逕庭，對我而言挑戰性很高，今天在唸書時，念到金融術語的部分，我開始雙眼渙散，此時我聽到腦中一個小小的聲音對自己說：我就是最不擅長這類的東西，我立刻發現了這樣的想法，然後我就搖搖頭、拍了手（立刻把自己帶出當下情境）很大力的那種，重新對自己說：「我很ㄎㄧㄠˋ，一定有辦法把這東西搞懂。」 很多人應該都有經歷過，別人對你說：「你不行啦！你又不在行！」或者更多時候是自己對自己設限說著：「我做不到。」 這些都是過去式，而且是nonsense。
現在，可以做一個小實驗，只要有任何否定自己的想法在腦中出現，換個方式對自己說話，例如：「哇塞我太漂亮了吧！我超有自信的好嗎！我很有價值！我做得到！我超ㄎㄧㄠˋ超聰明的一定能搞懂。」等等。
心態的轉換可以改變你的外在行為，上次在某個地方讀到一段話：「我們花太多時間去改變外在世界，還急於看到成效。但事實上是，要改變外在世界，要先從改變內在開始。」 好，最後，跟我一起說：「我超讚的好嗎！我啥都做得到！」 ————————————————————————— Going back to school and studying a brand new major means that I have a lot to take in when I’m studying, and It’s very challenging. When it came to a time that I looked at the content and go blank, and thinking to myself ‘what the heck is that’, I heard a little voice inside of my head saying man this is too hard for me. And I was aware of this immediately. Of this limiting belief. So I changed my thought from ‘I can’t do this’ to ‘girl I’m freaking intelligent and smart and diligent so I can figure it out’. It’s the change of the mindset.
Have you ever been told that, you’re not good at this, you shouldn’t be doing that? Or sometimes it’s just you telling yourself all these nonsense.
Now, whenever this happens in your head, or from other people’s mouth, do yourself a favor and tell a different story to yourself. Such as’I got this, EZPZ, I’m capable of anything, damn I have super power, I’m a powerful manifestor, I’m intelligent human being, I’m enough, I deserve to be loved.’something like that.
A change of mindset and change the external world. Whenever you want to change the external, start from the internal.

Everybody loves eggs, so how about some more egg idioms this week? 每個人都喜歡吃蛋，所以這週我們繼續來談更多的蛋。
1⃣ tough/hard egg to crack
2⃣ sb. can’t boil an egg
3⃣ kill the goose that laid the golden eggs
4⃣ goose egg
5⃣ lay an egg

Remember the expression “tough/hard nut to crack”? Well, 1⃣ “tough/hard egg to crack” has exactly the same meaning. Ex: For many language learners, English is a tough egg to crack.
還記得之前介紹過的tough/hard nut to crack「難搞的人事物」嗎？呃，把nut換成egg也是一樣的意思：For many language learners, English is a tough egg to crack.（對許多英語學習者來說，英語還蠻難搞的。）
Eggs are probably one of the easiest things to cook—just plop them in a pot and boil for three minutes. 2⃣ So if someone “can’t boil an egg,” it means they’re a bad cook, or can’t cook at all. Ex: Lots of millennials can’t boil an egg.
蛋大概是最容易料理的食物──只要把蛋丟進鍋中煮個三分鐘就好。所以，萬一有人是can’t boil an egg「連水煮蛋都不會煮」，那他一定是位很糟糕的廚師，或者根本沒有下廚天份。如：Lots of millennials can’t boil an egg.（許多九年級生連水煮蛋都不會。）
If you’ve read Aesop’s Fables, you know the story The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs. A farmer owns a goose that lays a golden egg every day, and thinks there must be a big lump of gold inside it. So he kills it and cuts it open, only to find no gold. 3⃣ “Kill the goose that laid the golden eggs” therefore came to mean to destroy a source of wealth through stupidity or greed. Ex: Why would he quit his civil service job? That would be killing the goose that laid the golden eggs.
如果你有看過伊索寓言，你應該聽過「下金蛋的鵝」這個故事。有位農夫有隻每天會下一顆金蛋的鵝。他心想，這隻鵝身體裡頭一定有塊黃金，所以把鵝給宰了，切開身體，卻找不到任何黃金。所以kill the goose that laid the gold eggs可延伸為「（因貪心或愚笨而）自斷財路」，如：Why would he quit his civil service job? That would be killing the goose that laid the golden eggs.（為什麼他要辭掉那個公務員工作？這根本是自斷財路。）
Speaking of goose eggs, 4⃣ a goose egg can also mean a score of zero in a game/contest or on a test. Ex: I got a goose egg on the quiz this morning. And finally, 5⃣ “lay an egg” can mean to fail in a publicly embarrassing way. Ex: The teacher tried to tell a funny joke, but he laid an egg.
提到goose egg鵝蛋，在英文裡也可以指競賽中沒有獲得任何分數，也就是中文的「零分，拿鴨蛋」意思。如：I got a goose egg on the quiz this morning.（我今天早上小考考了零分。）最後，lay an egg原本指「下蛋」，也可以延伸為「在公共場合下出糗，搞砸事情」，如：The teacher tried to tell a funny joke, but he laid an egg.（那位老師本來想說個笑話，但他搞砸了。）
【✍重點單字】
1. plop「扔」：當動詞。
2. millennial「千禧年世代」：指西元2000年左右出生的一代，相當於台灣的九年級生。
3. lay「下蛋；放置」：其過去式變化為lay-laid-laid。lay也可以當lie「躺著」的過去式，請注意區分。

Traditional culture is often forgotten in today's ever fast-moving world. We choose to put aside our roots in desperation to keep up with the latest trends. We tend to forget where we came from, thinking our histories are no longer significant to us.
I fully respect people who spend the time and energy to look back and dig into their own histories, and choose to bring out and share their traditions with people of the modern world.
These people are heroes because they do this action in order to remind our modern society that without our pasts, we wouldn't be who we were today.
Without realizing and appreciating the wisdoms of our ancestors, would we truly understand how to build a better future?

［老蛙鏡頭廣告不會告訴你的事］
再一次倚仗人事關係，取得了老蛙鏡頭方面的邀請，為它們的新鏡頭拍攝一輯宣傳照。其實自己頗喜歡這一次的構思，所以想跟大家分享一下。
上一輯為其MFT 7.5mm f/2拍的照片，走的是比較直白的推銷風格，每張宣傳照的計設都是為突顯該鏡頭的某項長處。這一次，我希望試試另一種路線，不再硬銷產品優點，轉而希望能與目標觀眾產生連結，從而對品牌或產品產生親切感，含蓄地激起他們進一步了解更多的欲望。然而實際要怎樣做呢？倒讓我很傷腦筋。
某天，腦海突現浮現出凱撒大帝的名言：「Veni, vidi, vici 」，英譯為「I came, I saw, I conquered (我來，我見，我征服)」。在演說技巧中有所謂「三連句」，被認為是非常有力量的表達。凱撒此言正是一例，也正好作為廣告Slogan的原型。
有了這句話，突然整個圖像就清晰起來了。作為攝影者，也不外乎是帶著相機，前往各種令人興奮的地方，然後觀看、發現、捕捉！
為了對應攝影的情況，我首先把句中的過去式改為現在式，代表事情還未完結，每一刻也可以發生。收斂性的「I came」，則改成發散性的「I go」，走出去拍攝。至於充滿霸氣的「I conquered」，則換成不卑不亢的「I capture」。其實原本想每個場景都用不同的動詞，但因為讀得書少，詞都唔識多個，辭窮之下便全部都用Capture。🙈
題外話，作為喜歡拍風景的人，我其實對於人們說要「征服」大自然是頗為反感的。凱撒大帝的宣稱是對人的，但面對大自然，渺小的人類算甚麼，那些說出此狂言的，實在無知。
句中連續出現的三個「我」，已經為畫面定調了。這輯相，注定要以主觀角度出發了。
於是我研究了這支鏡頭的潛在用法，然後為每個用法設定一個場景，並以相同的主觀角度拍攝。這樣，整輯相便統一得來又有豐富的內容，同時又能夠呈現出各種使用實況，引發潛在用家幻想自己使用這支鏡頭時的狀況（觀眾連結啊！），讓他們自己說服自己去購買。
最後的成品便是這九幅場景照，再加上九幅現場以該鏡頭實拍的範例照。別小看這區區九張相，攝製隊可是走遍了五大洋七大洲，歷時三年才拍攝完成，每一幅都有血有汗呢！
我不肯定最後的成品到底能達到多少當初想要做到的效果，但也總算是一次不太差的試驗吧。
最後簡單介紹一下這支鏡頭吧。這是專為Sony FE mount機種（即Ａ７系）而設計的廣角大光圈手動鏡頭，數值為15mm f/2。有興趣的朋友自行到 Venus Optics - Laowa 看看詳情吧～
