[原來如此冷知識]

五月三日是英國地方選舉，倫敦這次選地方議員和自治市市長，大倫敦地區內33個行政區--倫敦市與32個自治市(中文好饒舌喔，英文是City of London、32個自治市包括City of Westerminster 以及 31個London Boroughs)。我們平常談論的「倫敦」這個城市其實是Greater London, 是一個屬於郡級的一級行政區。 如果你還沒有昏頭，我再告訴你倫敦市雖然是大倫敦行政區之一，但是比其他行政區威，每年換市長、按照傳統在九月由代表選舉、11月舉辦就職遊行....＠＠

這裡選舉沒有廟會那樣鑼鼓喧天的宣傳，以及貼滿滿的熱鬧文宣，但是候選人也是會掃街拜票，支持者就默默在窗口貼海報表態。投票至下午我家這條街上都是工黨的拉票人馬（是不是會跳過綠黨哪家不去按鈴啊）。投票站好多家，開到晚上10點好便民。
