最近第一次聽到，紐西蘭國歌，“天佑紐西蘭” ， 就被她悠揚的音樂給感動。但是細究整個歌詞，感受更深。 如果台灣可以改寫國歌，我會很希望，能夠有這一首歌的包容、自信、自愛、以及追求偉大卓越的信念。

我對這一段特別感動：

「來自不同民族與信仰的人們，
聚集於主的面前。
請主保佑這片土地，
祝願上帝保佑我們的自由之境。
摒棄爭吵，妒嫉，厭惡和腐化，
守護我們的國家吧，
讓我們的國家更加美好，
天佑紐西蘭。」

「我們自豪於和平而非戰爭，
但若敵人膽敢侵襲我們的海岸。
我們必將化為強大的戰士。
祝願上帝保佑我們的自由之境。
戰爭之王，奮起全力，
讓敵人們四散潰敗。
讓我們的目標永遠公理、正義，

這兩段，把國名換成台灣，也非常貼切。
這種理念，也是小國好民可以追求、努力、奮鬥的。

我們自豪於和平而非戰爭，
但若敵人膽敢侵襲我們的海岸。
我們必將化為強大的戰士。
祝願上帝保佑我們的自由之境。
戰爭之王，奮起全力，
讓敵人們四散潰敗。
讓我們的目標永遠公理、正義，
天佑台灣。

國歌由毛利語以及英語組成，兼顧多數與弱勢，內容包含詠頌紐國自然、地理及天文，未來台灣國歌，可以參考其概念。

我們國家的自然、地理、天文，以及這個國家希望追求的理念。
