▍畫廊冬季聯展 Gallery Winter Group Exhibition｜Pinling Huang
galerie nichido Taipei is pleased to present several recent creations by artist Pin-Ling Huang. We would like to share with you an excerpt from the catalogue published on the occasion of the artist’s first solo exhibition at our Tokyo branch, and invite all friends to visit our opening this Saturday! "In order to successfully complete her work at once, Huang devotes herself to stretching her body in front of the canvas. The continuous practice of waving brushes in the air allows the body to acquaint itself with the canvas and shake off any fear that may arise when faced with the various limitations materials and size can cause. From palm-size works to large-scale diptychs, Huang starts her work in a well prepared and rational status, yet she also uses splashing techniques along the way to create a more accidental visual effect, leading to some pleasant surprises that even she herself cannot foresee. Her brushes spreading out on the canvas carry pure colors that are sometime thick and sometime light. She occasionally takes a pause to examine the proportions in the composition, the lines and texture created from the paint layers, and the objects she will eventually “place” inside. All of what exists in her head which cannot be expressed in words suddenly blends into something familiar yet alien at the same time, as the view of a deserted landscape simultaneously evokes in the viewer extremely personal emotions as well as a commonly shared sense of loneliness." - Li-Hao Chang (Independent curator and art critic)

Plateau studio x Stephen Vuillemin
S. Vuillemin is an artist from France.
His field of work covers animation, illustration and comics - that he sometimes blends together, such as in the pioneering "animated comics" "Lyceennes" (2011) ("a novel use of animated gifs" - Wired magazine), that paved the way to modern "animated comics", or in some of his commissioned illustrations.
While keeping a commercial practice (his client list includes Stone Island, The New-York Times, Arte, GQ magazine, as well as the film Deadpool, in which he solely designed and animated the 2D hallucination sequence), S. Vuillemin also maintains producing a very peculiar body of personal work - that includes riveting instagram comics (@aycevee), or a short animation film (in progress).
S. Vuillemin 是一名來自法國的藝術家。
其領域涵蓋動畫、插畫、與漫畫 - 有時他也會把這些東西混在一起，像是他開創性的"動態漫畫"作品 "Lyceennes"(2011) ("一本用動態圖像互換格式gifs編寫的小說" - Wired magazine) 為現代的動態漫畫奠下一大基礎。
如果談到商業作為(客戶包含Stone Island, The New-York Times, Arte, GQ magazine, 還有漫威電影"死侍"，當中他獨自設計與製作了出現幻覺那幕之連續鏡頭）
直至今日S. Vuillemin也不斷的用他自己獨特的風格維持創作 - 在他的Instagram (@aycevee) 上可以看到他極具風格的Instagram漫畫，另外自己本身的動畫電影目前也正如火如荼進行中。

跟大家分享小妞的學習過程
不過每個小孩不一樣，學習能力及個性都不同
爸媽還是要依照自己孩子的情況去微調哦 !
1. 先學習26個大小寫字母: 可以搭配DVD與閃卡一起使用! 效果極好~ 像字母的DVD一片是41分鐘，一開始接觸可以看20分鐘左右就好，每天看20分鐘，搭配閃卡一起，大概2~4週就可以學會了! 小孩的記憶力真的無敵好，加上DVD和閃卡真的非常有趣~ 學的飛快!
2. 接著學習-\-\顏色/形狀/數字 :這都是比較基礎的部份，在學會26個字母之後，就可以帶孩子慢慢接觸數字形狀及顏色， 一樣都是搭配閃卡與DVD一起使用，效果絕對是大加分!
3. 然後是字母發音 Phonics - Letter Sounds， 字母都學會了之後，就可以開始學習Phonics發音 (有點像我們以前學的KK音標)， 現在都是推phonics自然發音! 而phonics裡面最基本的發音就是-\-\字母發音哦!
4. 再來是常用字 : sight words
常用字有分成三個階段，LEVEL 1~3，小妞目前學到LEVEL 2，可以從LEVEL1開始慢慢陪孩子學習認字(DVD是學會的關鍵)、閃卡則一樣搭配使用
★sight word在幼兒的初級繪本讀物中 ，大約佔了總字數的75%，孩子認得這些sight word的好處就是，在接觸初階繪本讀物的時候，就已經認得大部份的單字， 累積sight word有助於孩子的閱讀學習，讓他們可以更加專心在讀物的內容及理解
5. 可以跟常用字同步學習的是: 自然發音Blends與組合發音Diagrams， 這邊已經是到教材的最後階段了，邊認sight word、邊接觸較難的組合字發音， 其實有點像注音的概念，學會這些組合發音，孩子慢慢就能讀出繪本裡的單字， 就算不認得這個字，也可以稍微自己拼音唸出來哦~
不管爸媽本身有沒有英文底子
陪伴孩子一起學習都是很重要的~
孩子感受的到我們的陪伴與用心
也喜歡跟我們一起看書、學習
這讓他們感到安心與踏實
學習任何事物只要打從心裡的接受與喜歡
