一直對電影裡將軍讀的林肯寫的信念念不忘，
因此想要試試看翻譯成中文。
想要看看能不能逐字的翻譯但同時保有通順度
和那個年代的英文有的優雅感。

I have been shown in the files of the War Department a statement
of the Adjutant General of Massachusetts that you are
the mother of five sons who have died gloriously on the field of battle.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine
