紐西蘭所有僱員有權請假三天流產假，成為世界上少數有流產假的國家！

其實台灣也有流產假喔！根據勞基法懷孕三個月以上流產者，應給予產假四星期；二個月以上未滿三個月流產者，應使其停止工作，給予產假一星期；懷孕未滿二個月流產者，應使其停止工作，給予產假五日。會有這樣的差異，主要是胚胎週數較小時，子宮大小尚未改變，出血量較少，各種賀爾蒙也恢復的快。

會有這樣的差異我猜想，因為外國人大多很清楚流產是胚胎不正常的自然現象，因此過去很多書籍及國外網友都反應，在歐美紐澳地區流產，醫師好像都很「不當一回事」，連超音波檢查的次數都很少，大多請女性自己回家等胚胎自然排出，連回診都不用。

相反的，台灣在這塊的檢查就相對細緻。反倒是，流產後的心理照顧需要我們繼續努力，好比，如何降低女性的罪惡感，如何培力流產後的女性，不要被世俗言論牽拖自己身體不好氣虛，而對自己身體失去自信。

Ngày hôm qua 12.05 thì đã có một thông tin gây chú ý đặc biệt với nền giải trí Mỹ đó là việc Ellen DeGeneres - MC của talk show truyền hình nổi tiếng “The Ellen DeGeneres show” đã tuyên bố rằng show truyền hình này sẽ chính thức dừng phát sóng vào năm sau 2022, sau 19 mùa liên tục được phát sóng.

Việc Ellen quyết định chấm dứt show của mình được cho là do **outrage** (sự phẫn nộ) của công chúng. Show của Ellen đã gặp phải những **allegations** (những cáo buộc) tới từ chính những cựu nhân viên sản xuất show truyền hình này. Họ bảo rằng Ellen luôn cố gắng truyền tải thông điệp “Be kind” - tức là hãy đối xử tốt với người khác, nhưng trên thực tế, môi trường làm việc của show lại là rất độc hại, và khiến họ cảm thấy **distressed** (khổ sở).

Rất nhiều cựu nhân viên giấu tên đã cho biết là họ đã phải chịu rất nhiều **discrimination** (sự kì thị) do việc là người da màu. Nhưng không chỉ những nhân viên da màu, mà cả những cựu nhân viên da trắng cũng **condemn** (lên án) môi trường làm việc tồi tệ của show. Họ bảo rằng mình bị **reprimanded** (khiển trách) nếu đòi hỏi tăng lương, hoặc nói chuyện không vừa ý sếp. Một số người bảo rằng họ bị sa thải sau khi xin nghỉ phép, dù những lý do nghỉ phép của họ rất chính đáng như là vì bị ốm. Cá biệt còn có người bị sa thải sau khi xin nghỉ **bereavement leave** (nghỉ tang). Tất cả những nhân viên mà cố làm ngơ để làm hài lòng sếp sẽ được thưởng, còn những nhân viên lên tiếng sẽ phải chịu **retribution** (hình phạt nặng nề). Hầu hết thì những cựu nhân viên này chỉ lên tiếng chỉ trích nhắm vào những vị giám đốc sản xuất của chương trình, chứ không nhắm vào Ellen. Tuy nhiên, một số khác cũng cáo buộc rằng tính cách của Ellen thật sự có vấn đề, và họ châm biếm rằng họ của Ellen không phải là DeGeneres mà là **Degenerate** (suy đồi về đạo đức).

台灣民謠金屬樂團 Crescent Lament 恆月三途，於2020年底推出第三張專輯 —【噤夢 Land of Lost Voices】。【噤夢】以終戰後國民政府來台前期的台灣社會為背景，除了在音樂上融入更豐富的民俗樂器，也將上張專輯【花殤 Elegy for the Blossoms】的主角阿香再度帶入歌曲中，藉著藝妲阿香與戀人明風兩人未完的緣分，娓娓道出歷史洪流中台灣人民遭遇的悲傷故事。

首支MV —「孤燈微微 By the Lone Light」，從阿香及明風的視角出發，描述二二八事件發生後，無數台灣人面臨的生離死別。

……如同那年代無數台灣有志青年，受過現代教育的明風，對台灣的未來懷抱無比熱忱。1947年3月8日，即將出門的明風說道：「聽講基隆港咧欲出代誌矣，為著妳佮囡仔的未來，我愛去看覓（聽説基隆港快要出事了，為了妳跟孩子的將來，我必須去看看）。」接著他擁著阿香，繼續說：「我下暗就會轉來。若是趕袂轉來，我會先去社寮島的阿兄兜蹛一暝（我傍晚就會回家。倘若趕不回來，我會先去社寮島的大哥家住一晚）。」

然而，明風再也沒有回來。隔日，阿香從鄰居口中得知，中國來的援軍已從基隆港登陸，船還沒靠岸就架起機槍掃射民眾，岸上軍隊也沿街瘋狂開槍；成群學生被軍隊割掉耳鼻及生殖器後，用刺刀戳死；其餘沒死的市民被軍隊抓起來，三、五人一組遭鐵線刺穿手掌足踝，串成一排排帶到港邊，朝頭上開一槍後踢到海裡。幾天後，浮起的屍體漂滿基隆港，隨著浪一波波打回岸邊。阿香經不起如此巨大打擊，終日以淚洗面。

明風的屍體從來沒被找到。接下來兩個月，國民政府在全台進行血腥鎮壓及恐怖清鄉，約兩萬名民眾遭軍隊屠殺，青壯世代傷亡猶重；而醫師、律師、教授、議員等台灣菁英，更遭大規模處決，整個世代的台灣人被集體消音……

Crescent Lament’s third album "Land of Lost Voices" is released on December 11, 2020. A sequel to our second album, the story continues from where "Elegy for the Blossoms" left off: the unfinished romance between A-hiong and her lover, Bîng-hong. They once believed that they would not see each other again, but fate has brought them back together. They would go through the collapse of Taiwanese society in the post-WWII era, experience horrifying days that were even more miserable than wartime, and finally witness the destined tragedy of the 228 Incident.

The current music video “By the Lone Light” recounts the bereavement that A-hiong suffered, after realizing Bîng-hong has died from the indiscriminate massacre in March 1947.

(Excerpt from the lyrics booklet)…… Like all young Taiwanese of that era, Bîng-hong, who had received modern education, was passionate about Taiwan’s future. “I heard something happened at Keelung harbor, I need to check it for you and our kid,” Bîng-hong told A-hiong before he headed out on 8 March 1947. “I’ll be back in the evening—if I don’t return before nightfall, I’ll spend the night at my brother’s home at Sia Liao Island,” he said, giving A-hiong a hug as he left.

Bîng-hong never came home. The next day, A-hiong heard from neighbors that Chinese troops landed in Keelung the day before, and started shooting people with machine guns even before the vessels docked. Troops on land also shot people indiscriminately on the streets. Groups of students had their noses, ears, and genitals cut off, before being stabbed with bayonets. Those who survived were arrested by soldiers, and strung up with barbed wire through their palms and ankles. Then, they were shot in the back of their heads, and kicked into the harbor. Days later, innumerable floating bodies blocked the harbor, and piled up on the shore. A-hiong could not take it anymore, and was in tears all day.

Bîng-hong’s body was never found. In the following two months, the KMT government violently cracked down on uprisings, and purged rebels across Taiwan. Around 20,000 civilians were murdered by the troops, most of whom belonged to the young generation. Doctors, lawyers, professors, and councilors were executed in large numbers, and an entire generation was muted……(Excerpt from the lyrics booklet)
