#Repost @diamonds_for_peace ・・・ To empower artisanal diamond workers and community residents to raise income and improve living conditions, Diamonds for Peace is implementing beekeeping activities in Weasua town in Liberia. As a part of the training course on basic beekeeping techniques held in partnership with Universal Outreach Foundation(@universaloutreach), diamond diggers and residents of Weasua learned how to make beehives (September 2020). Money donated by Mio Harutaka(@mioharutaka ), designer of the jewelry brand “MIO HARUTAKA,” was used for purchasing thick boards made of local wood to build beehives. ダイヤモンド・フォー・ピースは、リベリア西部ウィズア村のダイヤモンド採掘者や地域の住民の、所得や生活環境の向上のために、養蜂事業の導入に取り組んでいます。 写真は、ユニバーサル・アウトリーチ・ファンデーション(@universaloutreach)とのパートナーシップによる養蜂基礎技術研修の一環で、ウィズア村の採掘労働者らが巣箱をつくる様子（昨年9月）。ジュエリーブランド「ミオ・ハルタカ（MIO HARUTAKA）」のデザイナーである春高未欧さん(@mioharutaka )からの寄付金を使って、巣箱をつくるための地元の木材による厚板を購入しました。

【懷舊街坊傳統冰廳 pt.1 】 比起新式茶餐廳講gimmick搞fusion 我更喜歡走走傳統街坊老茶室 開了幾十年的老舖成了附近屋村公公婆婆們聚腳打躉之地 店內的叔叔嬸嬸都好熱情好客親切 店內真係樣樣都係古董 舊式地磚、卡位、甚至用的杯碟都好懷舊 廚房的焗爐都是超舊式的沒有溫度顯示😅 這裡仍然自家製各式傳統港式麵包同撻 更有我從未試見過像蜂巢一樣的蛋糕仔 最受歡迎的當然係菠蘿包、蛋撻 菠蘿包鬆軟但面頭的菠蘿皮唔夠脆 蛋撻是我喜歡的酥皮 一層層鬆化脆感 好好食 如果預啱新鮮出爐應該會更正 雖然食物未必係最好食 亦唔會有什麼驚喜 都是最傳統做了幾十年的味道 但就是那份溫情人情味是獨有的 亦係最香港的味道 • As opposed to the new style cha chaan teng that focus more on gimmicks and fusion, I actually enjoy visiting this type of nostalgic old school cha chaan teng where you can get the true traditional taste of Hong Kong. Since they are usually located in proximity of older generation residential area, it’s the place where elderly in the neighborhood use as a rendezvous. Those classic patterned floor tiles, booth seating and pastries selling at storefront, all evoke nostalgia. Operated by seniors who have probably worked there for decades, same for the equipments (god knows how old those ovens are 😂 well they still work and probably much more durable than new devices 🤪), they sell very traditional local bread and pastries e.g. pineapple bun, egg tarts and also some mini cakes shaped like beehives which I’ve never seen before. The egg tart is of course my favorite with layers of crispy puff pastry.
