看似普通卻別具意義!
我雖非台灣人,卻選擇在台灣深耕30年,我的作品不多,只有100多首歌曲,這是我自己很喜愛的一首歌...
我自己很喜歡,謝謝作詞者陳家麗美麗的歌詞,謝謝這30年來所有支持愛護我,熱愛欣賞我的音樂的知音朋友,
因為有你們,可以讓我堅持只做黃大煒,只專注音樂事業,
實在幸福,我會繼續努力,感恩!

Soo many "Firsts" combined this year!!
My composition, "愛，讓每一個人都心碎" was the first Chinese song I had ever sang. Thank you amazing, Chen JiaLi, for writing the beautiful lyrics!!
The television show, "Taiwan No.1" was the first time I ever attended a "民視" show!
These two were the first public event since the pandemic...
Although it may seem ordinary, it truly holds a special meaning in my heart...
I am been calling Taipei my home for over 30 years, yet, I am not a Taiwanese citizen... I am thankful for all the support from my supporters and fans!!
It is because of you all, that I can still create and share my compositions!

AIT has resumed our EducationUSA outreach after Lunar New Year! Our Cultural Affairs Officer Martin Luke visited New Taipei City’s Yuteh Private International School this week to meet students and share some information on U.S. education. Luke also brought some valuable books on American travel and literature to Yuteh as gifts. Around 200 students, from Grade 7th to 12th grades, attended the discussion and raised a number of interesting questions.

Lee Teng-hui may be remembered as "Mr. Democracy," as some journalists have labeled him, but a better moniker would be "Mr. Taiwan Identity."
人們對李登輝先生的印象或許是一些記者為他貼上的標籤「民主先生」，但更好的稱呼會是「台灣身份先生」

The real father of Taiwan's democratic transition was the late President Chiang Ching-kuo, who released political prisoners and allowed opposition politicians to contest elections beginning in 1980. Mr. Lee continued the process, to his credit, but his main contribution was to accomplish the "Taiwanization" of the KMT and the government, and to lead the Taiwanese people in a search for their own identity.
台灣真正的民主轉型之父是已故的蔣經國總統，他從1980年開始釋放政治犯，並允許對立的政客參與選舉。而李先生繼續這段轉型過程也功不可沒，但他的主要貢獻是完成國民黨與政府的「台灣化」，以及帶領台灣人民找尋自己的身份認同。

Mr. Lee epitomizes the contradictions of being Taiwanese. When he was born the island was Japanese territory, and as a result he speaks Japanese more fluently than Mandarin. He understood the confused identity of an ethnically and culturally Chinese people separated from their compatriots by a very different history.
李先生是身為台灣人的矛盾之縮影。當他出生時，該島是日本領土，因此他說日語比講中文更流利。他理解這群在種族與文化上屬於華人，但因著極為不同的歷史而跟同胞分離所導致的身份困惑。

For the Japanese occupation was quickly followed by a Chinese occupation that was even more brutal. When the young Lee Teng-hui was a college student in Taipei during the white terror of 1947, he was interrogated for several days by the nationalist security forces for having attended an underground study group.
因爲在日本佔領後，緊接著國民黨政府的接管更為激烈。在1947年的白色恐怖時期，年輕的李登輝還是大學生，他因參加地下讀書會而被國民黨維安部隊審問了好幾天。

Since Taiwan LGBT Pride will be on October 26, Brian takes on the challenge of learning to sing "Who am I?" by Afalean Lu and perform it in 5 days.

One of my behind-the -screens wizard friends gave me a challenge. He told me to perform this song, and even though I knew the name of it, I still hadn't watched the music video or heard the actual song. Even though it was completely new, my friend challenged me to go from completely new to performing it in 5 days

On Friday, October 25 at 7:30 P.M., there will be an LGBT group wedding at Ximen North Plaza. Since I attended the first LGBT group wedding in Taipei on May 24, I still get choked up randomly when I think back to that day. Seeing so many people who just got this new right and the ability to take the first step towards plans and dreams that had in some cases been waiting for a long, long time. If you want to come out and see true love, I welcome all to attend!
