Recently, Nora learned how to express “needs a hug” by spreading her arms by herself (or perhaps because of me), it was so cute! I started teaching her some basic sign languages a while ago such as “eat”, “all done”, and “milk”.
▶ When to start teaching
Experts said that the best time to start teaching bubs sign language is between 7mo to 10mo; however, you can start as early as 6m. The younger they start learning, the longer they take to sign back, so you need to be more patient!
▶Why teaching sign language
Baby sign language lets bubs communicate their needs before they can speak. It also helps improving their cognitive skills and better understanding vocabularies.
I found a few websites useful, for more information about baby sign language, check it out in my stories! P.S. These videos just show that Nora’s feet are more flexible than hands, so.....
