// CNY in the city // The world had gone topsy-turvy since the virus was identified just a mere few days before 2020’s CNY. And after a year of recovery in Malaysia, 2021 took off with a rough start for us. It’s likely that many of us need a little pick-me-up during this festive season to keep our spirits up and make Chinese New Year 2021 one worth celebrating. After all, studies have proven that savouring celebrations, big or small, improved mental and physical health as well as built resilience to unfavourable situations. 🏮Chinese New Year has traditionally been about reuniting with friends and family, but this year, we all celebrate reuniting with many firsts. Well at least it’s true for me... and here are my few firsts👇🏿 1. No deco corner at home🪆but our heart is full ❤️. 2. No steamboat for reunion dinner 🍲 but we have food on the table. 3. No leftover food 🍽 from CNY’s eve reunion dinner. 4. No new clothes 🤸🏿‍♀️ just put on the newest workout attire. 5. No CNY delicacies 🥠 except those sent over by Syafiqa & Liyana. 6. No house visits, but ask for my QR code 💳 (MBB, Grab, BigPay, etc)? I stay single for a reason 🤭. 7. No spring cleaning 📦 but in the midst of the mess of packing. 8. No disapproval about screen time📱at the dinner table; it’s FaceTime. 9. No worries 🎉 gyms are allowed to reopen today! What else could I ask for? It’s the biggest “angpow” ever🧧😆. Now go on and be merry — I know it’s family time⏳but do not forget to follow SOPs😷. I gotta admit, I have been lazy with taking pictures (have almost only been using my phone for photos) but using the M200 reminded me of how much better the quality of photos taken on a camera are. The M200 is not only lightweight and easy to use, and has interchangeable lenses as well as built-in filters to suit your needs.
