Anne Gros, the only daughter of François Gros, took over the domaine in 1988 at age 22 due to his father’s illness. Over the years, with her passion in wine, respect for tradition, and the desire to innovate, Anne had proved herself to those who doubted of her ability to manage the domaine and became one of the top Burgundy winemakers. ​ ​ Anne is also a member of @femmesetvinsdebourgogne (Women and wine of Burgundy), an association to connect and provide support for women working in wine of Burgundy. ​ ​ Domaine Anne Gros now covers 6.5 hectares producing 3 grand crus - Richebourg, Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot along with village level wine of Vosne-Romanée, Les Barreaux, Chambolle-Musigny, La Combe d'Orveau. In addition, both Bourgogne and Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits in red and white can be found in the market, too. ​ ​ What I have in my glass is the Bourgogne Blanc 2018. It is made from pure chardonnay coming from the Pasquiers, located in Vosne-Romanée. The wine displays delicate aromas of acacia, orange blossom, lemon curd, and yellow peach with lifted acidity and powdery minerality.
