คือคำว่าพระราชพิธีอ่ะ เราก็นึกว่าจะนานใช่มั้ย

แต่ปรากฏว่าพิธีสละราชสมบัติเมื่อกี้...15 นาทีเองจ้ะ!

ขั้นตอนนะ ก็คือเจ้าหน้าที่เชิญเครื่องราชกกุธภัณฑ์ (regalia) มาวาง

นายกรัฐมนตรี Shinzo Abe กล่าวสุนทรพจน์ประมาณ 2 นาที

ตามด้วยจักรพรรดิ Akihito กล่าวสิ้นสุดการปฏิบัติราชกรณียกิจในฐานะองค์จักรพรรดิอีกประมาณ 2 นาที

เสร็จแล้วเจ้าหน้าที่ก็มาเชิญเครื่องราชกกุธภัณฑ์กลับ

แล้วพระจักรพรรดิกับพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ก็เสด็จออกนอกโถงพระราชพิธีไป

พิธีเรียบง่ายและกระชับมาก!

เราดูถ่ายทอดสดจากช่องข่าวภาษาอังกฤษ ได้ความรู้มาแบ่งปันเพื่อนๆดังนี้ค่ะ...

1. ตามกฎมณเฑียรบาลของญี่ปุ่น (Imperial Household Law) จักรพรรดิไม่สามารถสละราชสมบัติได้

2. แต่เมื่อปี 2016 พระจักรพรรดิ Akihito ได้กล่าวเป็นนัยๆว่าอายุมากแล้วเกรงว่าจะไม่สามารถปฏิบัติราชกรณียกิจได้เต็มที่ อันนี้เป็นการแสดงพระประสงค์ว่าอยากสละราชสมบัติ แต่ใช้คำว่า "สละราชสมบัติ" ไม่ได้ เพราะจะผิดกฎหมาย

3. ในปี 2017 จึงมีการหารือต่างๆ แล้วสุดท้ายรัฐสภาญี่ปุ่นก็มีการประกาศใช้กฎหมายที่อนุญาตให้จักรพรรดิ Akihito สละราชบัลลังก์ได้ โดยกฎหมายฉบับนี้มีผลเฉพาะต่อองค์จักรพรรดิ Akihito องค์เดียวเท่านั้น ไม่ได้ให้จักรพรรดิองค์อื่นๆต่อๆมาสละราชสมบัติได้

4. รัชสมัย Heisei ของจักรพรรดิ Akihito จะสิ้นสุดลงคืนนี้ (30 เมษา 2562) เวลาเที่ยงคืน

5. รัชสมัย Reiwa ของว่าที่จักรพรรดิ Naruhito จะเริ่มพรุ่งนี้ โดยจะมีพิธีสืบราชบัลลังก์ ที่เครื่องราชกกุธภัณฑ์จะเปลี่ยนผ่านไปยังว่าที่จักรพรรดิ Naruhito เป็นหลักฐานการเปลี่ยนผ่านรัชสมัย

6. ในพิธีสละราชสมบัตินี้ จะสังเกตได้ว่าองค์จักรพรรดิ Akihito มิได้เข้าใกล้ หรือแตะต้องเครื่องราชกกุธภัณฑ์เลย เป็นสัญลักษณ์ว่าท่านไม่ได้เป็นผู้สละราชบัลลังก์แล้วส่งมอบอำนาจของท่านให้พระโอรสด้วยมือของท่านเอง เพื่อเลี่ยงการกระทำที่ให้ความรู้สึกว่าอาจจะผิดธรรมเนียมเพราะกฎมณเฑียรบาลไม่ได้เปิดช่องให้มีการสละราชบัลลังก์ตามที่กล่าวไป

7. พิธีสืบราชบัลลังก์พรุ่งนี้ อนุญาตให้เฉพาะราชวงศ์ที่เป็นผู้ชาย และผู้ดำรงตำแหน่งสำคัญทางการเมืองเข้าร่วมเท่านั้น สะท้อนบทบาทของผู้หญิงในราชวงศ์ (และในสังคมญี่ปุ่นทั่วๆไป) ที่ด้อยกว่าชาย แม้แต่เจ้าหญิง Masako พระวรชายาของว่าที่จักรพรรดิ Naruhito ยังไม่สามารถเข้าร่วมพิธีนี้ได้เลย!

8. แต่!!!! จะมีผู้หญิงหนึ่งคน เป็นผู้หญิงคนแรกที่ได้เข้าร่วมพระราชพิธีนี้ ก็คือ Satsuki Katayama รัฐมนตรีหญิงหนึ่งเดียวของรัฐบาลญี่ปุ่นค่ะ
